Be a legislator

If you could draft one piece of legislation in your country, what would it be?
Why is it important?
And what do you think are the chances of getting it passed?

I wouldn't bother trying because the chances of getting it passed are zero in my country.

In recent times there have been budget impasse in the Congress. This reminds me of philosophers who can't agree on anything and the people are fed up with the politicians.

Accountability laws that require judicially acceptable reasons why politicians will not follow through with promises given during election writs, with recall and pay clawback as deterrents. Yeah, right. Like any slimeball would vote for fair legislation...

What the hay? I'm going for proportional representation. It could happen.
And then i'll shoot for GBI.

"If you could draft one piece of legislation in your country, what would it be?"

Mind your own business, keep your hands to yourself.

"Why is it important?"

Cuz a whole whack of folks won't mind their own business and keep their hands to themselves.

#

"And what do you think are the chances of getting it passed?"

No chance at all.

The trial is the performance of the elected person...that is: the elected person convicts him- or her-self with poor service. And: by the neck.
