Some individuals can and do relocate ,for instance to Canada, but it would be too much trouble for an entire Silicone Valley business to do so.

The question isn't, 'Should we give it rights'; it should be, 'Do we seriously believe it's going to give 'us' rights?'
Of course it isn't. Why would it? Do we give rights to life forms that we consider 'beneath' us? Do humans give a shit about other animals?

I've never had the opportunity to argue with a "flat-earther" before, but I suspect that it is every bit as exhausting and exasperating as arguing with a Trumpian cult member such as you, Walker.Walker wrote: βTue Jun 17, 2025 7:50 amA mere pittance to pay to celebrate Patriotic moral during good times made possible by military strength of defense.seeds wrote: βMon Jun 16, 2025 6:00 pmSetting aside all of the hundreds of other reasons when it comes to Trump's regime,...
...what drives Americans...
(or at least those with a minimum of two working brain cells)
...nuts, is the idea that the Toddler-in-Chief and his diaper changers think that it's okay to spend an estimated 25 to 45 million dollars of taxpayer's money on some silly (third world-ish) ego parade for the dear leader's birthday, after he (only just a few weeks ago) allowed Elon (the false prophet) to fire thousands and thousands of federal workers for the sake of government "efficiency"![]()
It's amazing how just that one missing brain cell (of the necessary two) can render a person, not only clueless, but completely susceptible to brainwashing.
_______
However, according to AI Overview, it is estimated that during his first presidential term Trump played 261 rounds of golf, one [round of golf] every 5.6 days."...Because I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf..." β Donald J Trump β https://youtu.be/rPANJQ6O9bU
It makes one wonder why the forum's so-called Christians (such as IC) haven't picked up on that possibility? The Bible wrote:"...And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness..." β 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
It just goes to show that those who fancy themselves as being the Christian "elect" haven't a clue as to how the actual workings of a Biblical prophecy might unfold in real life, as opposed to the metaphorical (phantasmagorical) imagery by which it was conveyed. The Bible wrote:"...For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect..." β Matthew 24:24
OK. So God is going to "send" people "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie"? Wow! Some righteous God there. Why doesn't he just send them something to set them straight?
Excellent job at missing the point there, Gary.Gary Childress wrote: βWed Jun 18, 2025 3:09 amOK. So God is going to "send" people "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie"? Wow! Some righteous God there.
That might be a fair interpretation, for all I know about God.seeds wrote: βWed Jun 18, 2025 4:09 am Perhaps it would be more understandable if you substitute the term "strong delusion" with the term "negative karma" for all of the treachery America has sown across the globe for the last seven or so decades,...

However, if you want to get technical about it, I think the fact that the Biblical God is ready and willing to savagely torture untold billions of defenseless souls for eternity in the fires of Hell, is infinitely less righteous than sending people a "strong delusion" while on earth, don't you?
So don't act so shocked and surprised.
Anyway, just as a point of speculation as to why God might send a "strong delusion" to Trump supporters (and all of America in general) in order to teach a lesson,...
...might it have something to do with the brazen hypocrisy of a so-called "Christian Nation" that murders millions of men, women, and children across the planet through its imperialistic endeavors in order to steal their resources?
And speaking of Trump's "Christian" supporters, how much more antithetical to Christ's message can it get than that of their rabid racism and xenophobic zeal to deport those who are just trying to make a better life for themselves and their children?
Perhaps it would be more understandable if you substitute the term "strong delusion" with the term "negative karma" for all of the treachery America has sown across the globe for the last seven or so decades,...

All that blather didn't even touch the statement that caused such a jumbled, confused bleat that sounded a lot like, "Get off my lawn!"

Just in case it went unnoticed, since the thread-originator just asked: βCan you take your god-bothering to another thread?β this would be an opportune time to spell out the connection.
Probably wouldn't be too difficult.
