I think probably the biggest part of it is how much you struggle to get to the point. Getting you to clearly state your position, and why you believe your position is correct, is like pulling teeth. I mean, even this post of yours that I'm replying to is full of unnecessary bloviation.

I also wanted to respond to this. First of all, too many commas. Lay off the commas. Your communication style would benefit from a focus on brevity.

Secondly, you can't say I balk at your views and also say it's apparent that I don't know what your views are. Only one of those two things can be true. So the contradictory things you've said here just make it sound like you're saying whatever random thing you can think of to get at me.

Make up your mind, be consistent.

I think probably the biggest part of it is how much you struggle to get to the point.

But, most of the time I do not necessarily have 'a' point, to even get to. A lot of the time I have just wanting to 'understand' the other's actual view and/or point, exactly. Thus, the more than others asking of 'clarifying questions'.

Also, and by the way your use of the 'think', 'probably', and 'the biggest part' implies that you really are not yet actually sure at all, correct?

Age doesn give 'views'. That's beneath him. He accidentally asks the right question occasionally and that's about as good as it gets. When you ask that many pointless, annoying questions statistically there has to be one every now and then that hits some kind of mark anyway.
