The external world you perceive to be 'out-there' separate from you, is the dream of separation, it's real, it exists, but it's not happening to you. Why fight a battle when you don't have to. Why place so much importance on the dual world when you can never control it. The dual world, the dream of separation, is free to appear as and what it so chooses to be, in every apparent moment...

I personally watch my demons come, and soon notice that when I give them no attention, I watch them leave. Leaving me intact and unharmed. Honestly, nothing really is happening, but happens only when you think about it.

You've probably heard umpteen times that energy flows where attention goes.When you learn how to focus your energy correctly, amazing things happen, like nothing. Nothing is really misunderstood, nothing is amazing, just like the absence of pain is amazing. Nothingness is your natural default position of life. Freedom at zero point. It's not even a freedom, because in reality,everything is confined to life and it's conditions and laws, life has no escape from itself, and so acceptance is the key.

Why do you think you have survived into your 50s already? perhaps it's because life is not out to kill you off. Your body will die when it's time to die and not one second before, your body is not interested in being miserable or happy, the body is just a fuctioning of life that no force on earth can stop or undo.

Reality for the human mind is conceptual. It's all concepts all the way through. In the dual word of concepts, life is both awe-some and awe-full. Both happy and miserable.

If we were miserable all the time we wouldn't know it, same goes for if we were happy all the time, we wouldn't know it.

We only know happiness when misery is absent. We only know misery when happiness is absent. Neither of these feelings are who we are.
