"Woke" is a grammatical error. It rhymes with "joke," and for pretty good reason. It should be "awakened," but the people who coined it to flatter themselves were too dumb to notice, apparently.

And they don't notice that all the cities that have been the stomping grounds of Woke-types and Democrats for decades now, unimpeded by any Republican intruders, are the worst hellholes for minorities that the USA actually has...Baltimore, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland...Just like they don't know that Marxism is, by far, the most homicidal creed in human history, and ignore Cuba, North Korea, China, Russia, Congo, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Vietnam, Albania, and all the other places that the other Marxism's also turned into absolute economic, social and human rights disaster zones.
They don't actually care about minorities; they only care about positioning themselves as "champions of minorities." That's quite a different thing, as we find out. They actually think they're enlightened, special, virtuous, champions of the oppressed, and all that rubbish.
"Wokism" means talking about "critical theory," which is the opposite of "critical thinking." It means believing the world is made up of nothing but power blocks, keyed to things like race, gender, class and other nonsense. It means thinking that parents have no right to raise their own children, but they do have a right to murder them. It means you want to see kids in schools groomed into pedophilia or transism, so that they can be "disrupted" or "queer" revolutionaries (their terms).

It all goes back to a group of Neo-Marxists called "The Frankfurt School," who settled into Columbia university during WW2, and set out on a deliberate "Long March through the institutions" (their term). It took them half a century to achieve their goals, but they're pretty much where they hoped to be in American now. Sad, but true.
And that's why you can see streets on fire in America. And it's why you have BLM, and Pride marches, and Defund the Police campaigns, and open borders, and deliberate attempts to destroy the economy from politicians, and globalism, and new pushes for gun control, and drag-queen story hour in schools, and CRT in all the universities. These things are all part of the same political ideology.
Marxism is an ideology of universal socialism, driven by revolution. And "wokism" means "critical theory," which means, "being so indoctrinated into the Neo-Marxist optic lens, that you cannot help but see everything through it." The truth is that the switch to black Democrats happened in the late 20s and early 30s, under The New Deal, not in the '60s under the Southern Strategy. Statistics will bear that out, if you bother to check them. And you'll find that the Great Switch actually never took place at all, but is a fine example of Democrat myth-making.
