Venn Diagram
Venn Diagram
I created a Venn diagram with one circle representing truth and the other representing a mental object. I’m interested in exploring the relationship between these two concepts.

Re: Venn Diagram
isn't truth itself a mental object?

Gold.
… the opposite of a juxtaposition
… the opposite of a juxtaposition
Re: Venn Diagram
- In order to fit within the limitations of “object”, even a mental object, truth would need to be a single, representational thing.
- The horse is both tall, and piebald.
- Therefore, a singular truth as a mental object representing the reality of, can only be more than one object, i.e., the truth requires a relationship.
- We, and the truth, only exist in relationship.
- The truth is, all things are compounded, including mental objects, therefore whatever is not compounded, such as God, is not a mental object ... which makes the concept tough to represent, which is why some folks won't even say the word. Any word or concept instantly projects limitations due to binary apprehension, which is likely derived from physical, bilateral symmetry.

Re: Venn Diagram
Oh, it's not all that difficult to grasp.
Limitation applies more to the concept of Emptiness.
Emptiness is infinite potentiality.
A thing is a manifestation.
Infinite potentiality offers infinite possibilities.
A manifestation offers limited possibilities.
Ergo, any concept of God projects limitations onto God.
And then ...
The next thing you know, folks are talking about The Sky God ... usually in a dismissive way,
In an attempt to project ignorance upon the "God botherers," as they say.
Emptiness is Venn Diagram Without Borders.
Re: Venn Diagram
I now have a Venn diagram with one circle representing congruence and the other representing contradiction. I’m interested in exploring the relationship between these two concepts.

anything in one circle, its opposite in the other

Re: Venn Diagram
That works so long as you don’t have the triple circle Venn diagram with truth, mental objects, and whatever the middle of congruence and contradiction is…Impenitent wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 7:04 pm anything in one circle, its opposite in the other

Re: Venn Diagram
The peace resulting from no-conflict congruence is the Venn overlap.
Congruence occurs when societal truth dovetails with inherent truth.
Contradiction occurs when societal truth supersedes inherent truth.
Obviously, this hinges on inherent human qualities, such as fairness.
Hypothesis:
Socialism has little congruence overlap in the Venn.
(The conflict results in an unhappy mind for the honestly ambitious).
Capitalism has a lot of congruence overlap in the Venn.
Empirical evidence supports both.
