So sad...can't control who your parents are I guess.
My 3 year old is at school. Socializing. Using words without demanding definitions for them.

Maybe you skipped that step?
So you come here to vent your anger over why the condom broke, I am assuming?

I will be quite frank...you calling everyone here stupid all the time gives the impression you are quite frustrated with life.

I am venting my anger at why your parents' condom broke, but to be fair - there's always an upside to every error.

Should my son ever asks me to define "stupid", I'll be able to simply point at you.

Me?...no my friend now you equivocating a conversation on computer screen, that a 3 year old will not be able to read, to a human being and that will just confuse the child. Good thing you aren't homeschooling it.

Please continue...:)

I don't know how.

Lead by example and define it.

Now you are being honest. That I can respect. So you don't know how to define meaning, cannot point to it either, and yet expect me to give you something meaningful that only exists in your head? Now who is the stupid one with such impossible standards for others?

The standard is not impossible.

You simply aren't over the bar.

Who are you to speak of the standard over something you cannot define or point to?

But I can define "meaning"...if you wish.

👆 People who engage in this game aren't over the bar.

People who don't engage in this game are over the bar.

The bar is right in between. The dividing line between functional and dysfunctional communication

Nonsense, don't be so cynical..."meaning" is "right now".

Meaning is that which transforms one state of being into another, it is the process of transformation as the "ever-present now".

To seek something meaningful is to seek something transformative that leads us beyond ourselves as a way of refining ourselves. Thus meaning has infinite variations and yet always exists as right now because we are always in a state of transformation.

I have no idea what that means in any practical or operational terms.

It's just more metaphysics.

Imagine meaning isn't right now. And then? What do I do with this?

You are still imagining that it isn't...right now. And one thought transforms into another.

But I am curious. You speak of and elevate "practicality" and yet come here to insult everyone and then claim everyone is wrong...which is quite impractical. Why? What is your goal exactly?
