I have no shame for being white. I don't go around bragging about being white as though it's some kind of special honor. I tend to give people I meet a fair assessment if and when I can and even if I find they are unagreeable in nature I can sometimes find reasons to perhaps understand their feelings. Some people I understand are very stubborn and opinionated because they have encountered other people in life who, or experience events in life that made them feel that way. And some people have very inflated opinions of themselves that they have acquired through life. I don't always like being around people like that but it can be an understandable sentiment as well. We're all frail mortals, even with our foibles, whether those foibles involve arrogance or even outright hostility.
