I hear the old Democrat Who Hates America wants 300K for each ranting and raving session. Interesting. Perhaps with his pardon Hunter needs to step up to maintain the accustomed family lifestyle.

Who the hell keeps pushing him in front of the cameras?

Gary Childress wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 2:41 pm Are you Trumpians sure you're not going to fuck up America in the long term? Trump doesn't seem like he knows what he is doing. We have been leaders in science and research. That distinction may go to China when Trump is finished with us. Does that make you happy?
Try this perspective: So much depends today on spin and how things are framed. So, the opposition to Trump (we must admit) is and would have been inevitable. He was framed as Hitlerian, fascism incarnate, etc.

No matter what he did or didn’t do, the reaction is predictable, no?

I examine both poles of reporting, both poles of narrative. And there is a positive spin and a negative spin. How can we know where the “truth” is?

But notice too that “the success of America” is a fraught concept. Success likely means recovering political and economic power. And power is always problematic, isn’t it? Because it involves power-plays and dominion.

So what is “patriotism”? A Chomskian-style intense critique of American power? The dismantling of hegemonic power? Or the restoration of that power?

You, Gary, exist within a territory, a bizarre, confused, indeed pained realm of sheer uncertainty! You are not a force of cohesion, you are (taken on the whole) a sort of de-cohesive force. An acid.

The internal struggles in the US reflect the disjoining of social agreements. The political, social and ideological bonds become undone. No one agrees.

Why are you concerned about scientific or industrial domination? On what basis, in accord with what ethical imperative would you support recovery of dominance in the science/industrial realm?

You have no way to support America as a power-entity! It is immorality incarnate.

I am now working on a mega-chapter for The 18-Week Email Course. It includes a shift in diet, breathing exercises, a loooong reading list, and outdoor calisthenics with hot white girls who are sexy as hell but chaste.

Isn’t now a good time to sign up?! If not now, when?!

In furtherance of the MAGA philosophy.
(We can hear The Party's caterwauling about this with the memo to push Due Process misinformation that was sent out on the minion frequency.)

No Due Process For Illegal Regulations
https://issuesinsights.com/2025/04/21/n ... gulations/
But with the EF* deemed illegal**, there would no longer be a factual or scientific justification for the trillion dollars or so of IRA*** climate spending. Congress would be irrelevant as the president would be on firm legal and political ground to terminate the pointless pork barrel spending.

*EF = Endangerment finding by the EPA.
** By an executive order Directing the Repeal of Unlawful Regulations.
***IRA = Ironically named Inflation Reduction Act.

No, you're not. You're just repeating "due process," without saying what it really involves. Right of appeal. That's it, essentially.
I gave you the link to a 7 minute youtube video that covers everything you need to know today about Due process.
Here it is again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF2Twhzu39w
Immanuel Can wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:06 pm So if any illegal is given the chance to protest through legal channels, and that appeal is found to be groundless, he's had all the rights to which he's entitled, and can be deported. So much for "due process."
You are on the cusp of realisation, well done. I didn't realise I would also need to colour in the words "including notice and an opportunity to be heard, in any future proceedings." when I was trying to help you read and understand the text of the Supreme Court ruling that agrees with me. But yes, that is due process, and he was unconstitutionally denied it.

Immanuel Can wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:06 pm You just don't like to admit that deporting illegals is just fine, constitutionally. But it is.
I never mentioned anything to do with that question, you are just trying to railroad me. Are these people getting due process and equal protection of the law? If so, it is constitutionally fine.

Immanuel Can wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:06 pm
I haven't been discussing any other cases.
And we know why.
You obviously don't. You have no respect for other people and never allow us to speak for ourselves.
I was replying to these words of Walkers... "a US senator from Maryland went to El Salvador to petition for the return of a MS13, non-citizen illegal back to the US" With the factual information that such return was necessary do to failings of due process. You and he have been disputing that claim of mine since then. That was my claim, not some other words you want top put into my mouth.

Yup, stuff like this is how you collaborate with evil. Later, you will want to say that nobody warned you, and you weren't actually an enthusiastic supporter of "the event", but the record here will prove that you were warned.

There are no "future proceedings" when no grounds for appeal are found. Sorry. That doesn't add anything. Maybe you should put it in big, colourful font, in hope that the meaning will magicallly change. Give it a try.

Sure you did, but just sneakily. You tried to "answer" my question about deportation of illegals by referring to only that specific case. And you hoped we wouldn't notice the bait-and-switch. But we did.

Now you're annoyed that we caught you.

He was denied the correct proceedings that would have created the ruling to be applied. You can't assert that no grounds for appeal are found if there was no proceeding with findings to appeal, unless you are denying the guy due process.

You really are not good at this.

Well, we'll see when the process is finished...But what about all the other illegals? That's the question I asked. You can't make an exception into the rule, even if it turns out to be the exception. If all illegals have work permits, you have a case, maybe; if they don't, you don't.

You want to focus on the one exceptional case because you have no answer for the many. That much is very, very clear now.

The Supreme Court ruled 9 to zero that he has been denied due process. It is done, the ruling was made. Now what remains is to remedy the illegal deportation by bringing him back and granting due process even if that does result in a new deportation. Rule of law is important in its own right. Why can't you guys get that?

At least you have always known that you despise your constitution and wish to tear your nation apart to be rebuilt into some patchwork of semi-states.

The Supreme Court ruled 9 to zero that he has been denied due process.
That only gives him the right to representation and appeal. It doesn't give him any more than that.

Now, stop pretending he's typical, and answer the question: beyond a right to legally complain, what is the "due" of all the non-citizen MS 13 members in your country, that the last admin let in to to destroy the place with drugs, violence, crime, rape, child abuse and theft?

You know the answer: nothing.

I hate to tell you...one case does not signify whether or not the Federal Government has the power to deport. They do.
Have you had a stroke? Do we need to call you an ambulance? I never said the government has no power to deport, I said they had to do so in accord with due process.

You've lost your marbles.

This is really the most important issue. It is imperative to break up this gang, and any gangs (including Mexican cartels) and this will require going right up to the edge of the law.

When I said that Flash likely has other motives, those motives are not positive ones. I.e. not helpful in mercilessly crushing the gangs, their foothold, etc.

Laws are often breached (everywhere in the world) when criminal enterprises are attacked. One hopes at a minimum. But in real time it doesn’t always work out like that.

Sure. Even as nuthin' but a cluster of rapidly dividin' cells parasitically attached to my birthin'/motherin' unit I knew, in my amniotic dreams, of natural rights and minarchy. Five minutes after the unit expelled me I wrote my first treatise on those subjects using a nurse's gown as my paper, my widdle finger as my pen, and the bloody discharge on my body as my ink.

It was a marvelous work, lost to the hospital laundry.

I'd reproduce it but later that day, after a vigorous argument with the doctor about circumcision, I was accidentally dropped on my head, retarding me permanently.

It's been downhill ever since.
...you despise your constitution....
Sure. It's a mediocre blueprint meant to unionize that which by definition ought never be forced together. It has good ideas runnin' thru it, though.
...(you) wish to tear your nation apart to be rebuilt into some patchwork of semi-states.
Sure. I want the United States to go bye-bye and for the five to eight actual Americas to let their freak flags wave.
