Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
America has stood alone since its inception. America has been hated since its inception (and not for the reasons you think).when the rest of the world will turn on the US, it may very well will have to stand alone.
No, Americans want it to go away, just like they want the Israel/Palestine nonsense to go away.Trump wants Ukraine to surrender, that kind of "peace" was always available.
Of course not.Trump wants Russia to win
No, they didn't want war but empires (even decrepit ones) are gonna empire.Europe never wanted war to begin with
Putin has no interest in war, but he'll authorize one and Europe will die quicker.Putin wanted war and Europe is now forced to fight it to a draw or to win it.
Every iteration of the State threatens (along with lies, murders, steals, and enslaves). None are exempt. As for Europe: as I say, self-castrated and porous. There is no unity. It won't have an atomics program of any consequence and it has no will to use nukes anyway. The Islamists -- the dominant cultural force -- will not fight for it. The native-born won't fight for it. The European State is impotent, and without the U.S. State it will remain impotent.Putin has been threatening to nuke Europe for years, and now Europe is forced to create a unified European nuclear deterrence because of that.
You need to ask yourself why. Is it incapacity or simply biding time?he can't even get through Ukraine.
Right now: what would happen is, Europe dies. If Europe regains itself -- collectively and as individual nations -- it would be unstoppable. But that won't happen, not any time soon, and sure as shit not soon enough to deal effectively with the Russian State.Do you have any idea what would happen if the European armies joined the fighting?
I don't think he does.No wonder AJ likes it too.
The only way RED MAN DEFIANT loses support is if he deviates from put American interests -- as defined by Americans -- first.Trump and his followers will easily lose their majority even within the US.

There are indicators
Nuthin' I post would be taken at face value so I won't waste my time. You, though, can investigate it for yourself. Use the search engine of your choice (use several) and ask Is Zelenskyy profiting from the war?. Waste no time on the early hits. Go to the pages and hits that most folks skip.

Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
And you, like most here, don't know jack shit about Americans.
What I do know: Europe (its nations [that is, its peoples] is not what it once was. The Cradle of the West, a true cluster of civilizations, is now just a nursery for 3rd World interests.
America too has fallen, though not as far or hard. And we may still salvage it. You? You Europeans have a much harder job ahead.
Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
Since you're getting even the US wrong (Trumpism will fall), I wonder whether you yourself know jack shit about Americans.henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:18 pm And you, like most here, don't know jack shit about Americans.
The 3rd World the immigrants came from doesn't really have interests, so that's not quite right either. And saying that Europe is just a nursery for that, is dead wrong. Also it was the US-Israel that was most responsible for the recent migration crisis - your Republicans in particular. What I do know: Europe (its nations [that is, its peoples] is not what it once was. Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
This seems a little bigoted. Why do you see 3rd world "interests" as antithetical to culture and civilization? Haven't Achebe. Naipal, ishiguru, and Rushdie (and others) benefited English literature, and Western culture?henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:18 pmAnd you, like most here, don't know jack shit about Americans.

Perhaps Western culture would stagnate without outside influences. Who wants a stagnant world, lacking new influences and immigrant energy and innovation?
One more thing: as much as I despise Trump, perhaps he's not so horrid on the Ukraine (exceptnfor his rude and unconscionable treatment of Zelinsky). It's reasonable to change a losing game. Current policies seem to be leading to endless war. Try something else.

Your views, those expressed in your post, are like you: raw, folksy, but direct and also honest. True it may be that they are not unknown or unthought, I agree, yet what I was getting at extends beyond the cynical/realist base that you outline. It involves the influence of political theorists of the Right who were rarely studied but whose ideas over 12-15 years have filtered into the discourse of present. (Bannon for example as one who has read Evola, Guénon, Coomeraswamy, Jean Raspail, etc., etc.)henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:24 pmNone of the ideas embedded in my post are particularly new, controversial or fringe. BTW I did find a patch of sand! Down at the river there are people who pull it out, sift it, and sell it to people who mix concrete for construction. Do you pound sand? I image it could be part of a healthy exercise regimen. However I do have a small gym in my garage so I’m all good there …

Atla’s got a point. There is however a huge shift in the “support for Israel” line.
The Christian Evangelical Right, etc.
Tough conversation to delve into however, given the potential ramifications of too accurate speech in today’s climate.
Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
If by huge shift you mean that Trump has further increased support for Israel then yeah.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:45 pmAtla’s got a point. There is however a huge shift in the “support for Israel” line.

Myself, I have been receiving between $16,500 and $25,000 monthly for years now since I first read dome Aleksandr Dugin.Flannel Jesus wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:55 pmIs Russia paying you to post here?henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:53 pm Putin has no interest in war, but he'll authorize one and Europe will die quicker.
Let it flow like a river!
I don’t know who sends it. It comes from a Belgian bank (a dollar account). There are 3 signatures on each check but they are indecipherable. A messenger delivers an official looking envelope to the doorman. I resolved not to ask questions!
What do you expect? That I should tear them up for “ethical” reasons?

Re: Trump is not offering peace in Ukraine
There is no Trumpism. What there is is a weariness among Americans and an understanding the 4th Box is very close and unlocked. Americans really don't want to open that box, not here in the states or over there. So, we're desperately tryin' to get a handle on things. RED MAN DEFIANT is part of that effort. And, as I say, the only way he fails is if he deviates from puttin' American interests, as defined by Americans, first.Trumpism will fall
The immigrants most certainly do.The 3rd World the immigrants came from doesn't really have interests
No, Europe is raising up, quite willingly, a generation of New Men who aren't European.saying that Europe is just a nursery for that, is dead wrong
You're not wrong. The U.S. State, as I posted earlier, is very much the bad guy in multiple ways, across multiple fronts. Americans recognize this (finally!).Also it was the US-Israel that was most responsible for the recent migration crisis - your Republicans in particular.
Anyway, I've said my piece and gotten the reception I expected, so let me close with this...
Consider the possibility the State (in any iteration) is not synonymous with the nation and that its interests (which it holds to be the nation's) are not synonymous with the nation's.

You didn't say that an active invader "has no interest in war", so I didn't direct that at you my dude.Alexis Jacobi wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:54 pmMyself, I have been receiving between $16,500 and $25,000 monthly for years now since I first read dome Aleksandr Dugin.Flannel Jesus wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:55 pmIs Russia paying you to post here?henry quirk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 5:53 pm Putin has no interest in war, but he'll authorize one and Europe will die quicker.
