The other issue social services was on about was how he kept only the front den and kitchen heated by a wood stove even though the house had a central air system. The door separating the rest of the house was kept closed so the heat wouldn't get back there. In the winter, i would turn my electric blanket on and let it warm up while i waited in the den... then make a dash for the bed.
