Oh yeah, i forgot about that, lol! Another thing the old lady reported to social services was that the old man was making me eat cold canned food. And we did, actually, but that never bothered me. The other issue social services was on about was how he kept only the front den and kitchen heated by a wood stove even though the house had a central air system. The door separating the rest of the house was kept closed so the heat wouldn't get back there. In the winter, i would turn my electric blanket on and let it warm up while i waited in the den... then make a dash for the bed.

Like, who does that in 1985? This guy was a computer programmer for IBM, not a grizzly adams (although he liked to think he was).
