Moses fought wars. Muhammad fought wars. They were the sovereign leaders of their nation. You will just have to accept that nations fight wars, whether you like it or not.attofishpi wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 9:18 pm Why do you believe the divine being GOD would want humans to slaughter each other and demand to be worshipped?
Does that not sound more like the ego of a warlord to you?
Christ, on the other hand, did not fight wars because he was not a sovereign leader. He was under strict control of the Roman empire. In the end, it was the Roman governor who decided whether he would live or die.
You are comparing apples to oranges.
There is always someone who will be the sovereign rulrer of the nation and will have to send out the army when needed.
The fact that Christ could not do that, leads to all kinds of delusional claims about what decisions a sovereign ruler should make. It is just Christian Lalaland all over again.
If Christ had been the sovereign leader of his nation, he would also have had to authorize military action, or else be deposed and replaced by a leader more willing to do the job.
