No, I am being reasonable.

You are asking me to be hypothetically unreasonable.

I don't know how to forget being reasonable; and even if I did know how to forget - why would I want to?
There is NO contradiction in the consideration of two minds being instantiated to within identical symmetrical points of view.

Yes there is.

"Identical" means "never different"

If instance 1 and 2 are looking at each other things get really weird.

Are they seeing the same thing?
Different things?

You don't understand what identity means...

NEWS FLASH FROM THE SCIENCE DEPARTMENT OF EARTH

Post by Gary Childress »

Hello NASA. This is Gary Childress reporting from Earth. Can you send me a little more meaning? I'm running out of meaning. If you can't send any up, then I will see if I can create it on my own. Over. Please confirm. Are you there?

No they ain't. That's the point of Bonny's Room, each David Boon is seeing precisely the same dicking thing.

Get it?

No, I don't get it.

Because in the most precise sense possible they aren't "precisely the same thing".

They are two different things.

What's different?

I thought you would understand.. they are precisesly symmetrical at the point of instantiation.

You're both saying the same thing, except in different dialects. In other words, you're arguing with yourselves, because if you didn't argue with yourselves, then you would argue with others. Thinking is not doing. However, if we have nothing we wish done, then we think instead of do.

I reject arguing in opposition.

I reject zero-sum language games.

It is NOT constructive.

then find something to construct that doesn't cause others to protest. However, if you're only building it for yourself and don't want to share it, then I can't guarantee anyone else won't protest. However, maybe if you don't devote any resources that others need for their own projects, then no one will protest. Life deals some of us lemons and some people want to turn it into lemonade. Some want to put in in their tea. Some people also need lemons and just want them to be lemons. However, if we use all the lemons up for our own purposes, then there are no more lemons.

SAVE THE LEMONS!!!!!!!

"Can you send me a little more meaning? I'm running out of meaning"

Roger that Gary we read u. The station is equipped with emergency meaning generators. Refer to your manual for how to activate them.

U may also put the station in a low energy state to conserve your remaining meaning.

Meanwhile we are arranging to piggyback a shipment of meaning on a Japanese rocket set to launch in three days. If u can manage that long, we'll get u running again. And gary, I'm sorry man. U know it's out of my hands and I did everything I could to convince em. goddamn corporate bureaucrats and their 'policies'. Pickter and Davidson have never even been in a space suit but they make all the decisions. I tell ya NASA isn't what it used to be, Gary. Well u take care up there pal and we'll get that meaning up to ASAP. Over and out.
