Is morality objective or subjective?

Should you think about your duty, or about the consequences of your actions? Or should you concentrate on becoming a good person?

Since I'm not a pantheist: that would, in my view, be waste of ammo.
Anyone that shoots Trump is not wasting ammo.
Probably the best use for ordinance I can think of.
Sure, but how about that orange man, the corrupt elite atheist running around with a fucking bible!!

Atheists have infiltrated religion since the year dot to gain mass followings, and then convoluted it to their will - just look at the infiltration of all the paeodophiles!!!

i suppose next you're gonna say monotheists will need a single shot semi-automatic and polytheists a fully automatic machine gun.

You can't just cherry pick the Christians that you like.

You are being ridiculous. I pick Christians according to how they abide by the tenets of the teachings of Christ...NOT just because as ATHEISTS they wear a cross and claim to be Christian to get a large allegiant following..

Isn't atheism wonderful - one cannot say "Hey those atheists are a bunch of nasty scum" - because generally there is no affiliation that can group them!!
Atheist are free to be the lowest forms of humanity, dress them up as a Bishop if they want to get plenty of access to little boys.

You are so short of sight Sculptor. I'd actually be interested in stats as to how many purported "Christians" through time were actual TRUE believers...sweet fuck all on the whole me thinks.

Tenets are not chery picked, they were spoken by the man that went to his death (full knowing from childhood, that he would go through this sufffering) to instill the concept of faith for all the times in the future of wars (1st n 2nd) where men - perhaps you and I included in our past live(s) were comforted and given strength iand courage n great adversity, simply because we had faith in Christ.

Why don't you help me out in my Metaphysics thread - the hypothetical consideration of implications - since I am dealing with fuckwits thus far (apart from Hatbal and Hermit!!) - at least once I start addressing THEODICY - although since you are so certain that reality is not under the auspices of a panetheistic God or even AI, I suppose you'd rather not.
btw. How is Arising going, are you still friends or did you miserable attitude make him run a mile!! :)

What is wrong with cherry picking? The present pope has some good about him and some not good. It's my work to decide for myself which behaviour is good and which not good.
Moral principles are the criteria of good and not good. Is applying moral principles the same as cherry picking?

Tenets are not chery picked,
The whole religion is cherry picked.

How do you like this one?
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

How come you can still type?

And this?

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

So much for family values and honouring your parents..

What about animal cruelty? Are you cherry picking that or not?

32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

That's just Matthew.
Shall I go on?

You seem to have missed the point of the argument.

Answer this: does cherry picking find "tenets"??
When someone cherry picks all the negative things about homosexuality - are they then the tenets of Xianity ?

I see, thanks. So cherry picking is when someone picks only what supports his bias.
