Smart enough to use trade tactics, yes ... and without such,which we'd all resort to raping and pillaging, stealing, and even worse, we'd end up killing our own species just to survive. Seems to me the trade off is just a pretend screen to cover over our true nature. Seems like nothing has changed since the days of the dinosaurs. Even with the invention of a trade deal it seems that deal just triggers our opportunistic nature to get rich at the expense of making someone poor. And then that greed snowballs into the rich getting richer and the poor get poorer. Seems the true nature of who we are still lurks under this fake chocolate covered surface.

Which tells me there is absolutely no intelligent entity anywhere in this universe, creating or running it. Rather, it's just a rampant wild beast. Totally stupid.

Inventing money wasn't clever. Look at the state of the world today because of money...thats not clever at all.

There are a lot of things that have been introduced "uncontroversially," by means of the COVID scare, which ought to be really troubling to anyone concerned with personal freedoms.

One is the transferring of everything to credit, which allows meticulous tracking of all your purchases. Another is contact tracing, whether though cell phone apps or cards like this one. One thing for sure: when COVID is all over, the government is going to have tools to follow all your movements, beliefs and habits, the likes of which it has never had before. And most of us won't even notice, at least at first, how much personal privacy we gave up.

If one does not trust ones people and governments to do the right thing, one looks for what enforces that bias.

Our division has screwed up our eco system but some seem to like to divide us instead of uniting us.
