Philosophy is filled with problems and mystery
What I mean by this is when you solve one problem or a mystery, it often happens more problems and mysteries pop up (this is why I don't think science will ever put philosophy out of business).

The Self is mindless, thoughtless, it has no problem.. and is why it will always invent one as and through the mind. If I were you, and had your level of insight, Wonderboy, I would walk around town, urging people to keep taking breaths of air, because if they don't, they will asphyxiate.Philosophy Explorer wrote: βFri Aug 17, 2018 10:00 am What I mean by this is when you solve one problem or a mystery, it often happens more problems and mysteries pop up (this is why I don't think science will ever put philosophy out of business).

It's like the Chinese curse, 'may you have a long life filled with many interesting problems to solve'. Or something like that.

Philosophy necessitates an inherent loop.Philosophy Explorer wrote: βFri Aug 17, 2018 10:00 am What I mean by this is when you solve one problem or a mystery, it often happens more problems and mysteries pop up (this is why I don't think science will ever put philosophy out of business).
