For all things philosophical.

There is an external world? And the knower is located as a body with senses in it.
The body is a thing known, but are you sure the knower of the thing known is the body, isn't that like saying the head or heart know that they exist?
No, the body is the thing that knows and it needs a particular combination of things to do it.
I know there are things, but I don't know who the thinker of things is ..there are thoughts arising but I don't know how, what or where they are.
Why would you need a thinker of things rather than being a thinker about things?

Thoughts are sequences and amalgamations of the representations that the body provides of an external world divorced from the stimulus via the capacity of memory.
I don't think there is a body external to the seer do you? ...
I think the seer is the being of a body with senses in an external world.
how can a thing sensed or seen be external of the seeing?
How can it not?
What if there is no ground of being?
Then there is no body.
We can talk about this on a new thread if you want ? but only if this is of any interest to you of course?
Up to you.
