The reality is that laws do not end discrimination. It's a cultural thing. And despite any laws, save clubs like the KKK and the neo-nazis, the vast majority of private clubs in the US allow all people to join.

I forgot to add that my neighbors married decades ago. She's white and he's Japanese. So far. No one has burned their house down. Also, Kayla, she's a white high-school student in the south, complains about all the rednecks, and she has a black boyfriend, and no one has beat her up for it. In America, racism is dying. Growing up, American kids are taught that we are Americans first, and that we come from all over. I remember as a small kid hearing one kid in a group say something about being Irish or this or that and another kid saying, "It doesn't matter, we are all Americans." After which everyone in the group said, "Yeah, that's right." And that ended the topic. That is the American mind-set. That is something you can't understand about Americans, or intentionally chose not to. We elected a president who had a black parent and a white parent. We have a vice presidential candidate whose ex-wife was black. We have a top ex-military general active in politics who is white as can be, and he proudly appears with his black spouse. The last three movies I saw had Chinese leading ladies, and no one minded. In America, the racists are a dying breed, and they are being vocal because they are dying out.

funny that you should mention this but a few days ago a couple of rednecks did try to beat me and my boyfriend up - fortunately they were as drunk as they were fat which is to say very - those fuckers must have outmassed us 3:1

and there are insults dirty looks and in one case one fucker would stick printouts depicting lynchings in my locker until i caught him and he suddenly fell face first on the floor - he claims I grabbed his ankles and yanked but i denied it - he just fell spontaneously and the principal believed me - and then some black football players heard about it and they had a chat with him

i mean most people are cool with it but the minority who is not is not a small minority

i should add that rednecks are no more prone to racism than anyone else - sometimes they are the first ones to tell off some retard who is going on about niggers and whatnot

Well, at least I'm glad to hear you've gotten away from that cricket crap and are now a baseball maven. The reason blacks are so dominant in professional basketball is that they all play basketball from the time they can walk. If you have millions of black kids who dream of playing in the NBA, and all they do is play basketball instead of trying to do well in school, and when they don't make it to the NBA, and don't have any other skills, and can't get a job, and wind up being criminals, that's why blacks are so dominant in basketball and criminal activities, and not in any other line of work.

The literal definition of troglodyte means "cave dweller". And, if I remember the earliest surviving origin of the term was to describe the Cyclops in The Odyssey.






The object you compared with with is a fossil trilobyte, and has been extinct for millions of years - it does not lay dormant.
It has a surviving ancestor - the horse-shoe crab, and this is not a dormant creature either.

As for me I've been a teacher since 1984. I've taught at all levels of education; infants, primary, secondary, tertiary, degree level and masters level. I've never supervised a dissertation, but I have written several. I have more education than you. I have more qualifications than you. I have more experience than you. Fuck, I'm smarter than you too.

Yeah, I've run into racists who didn't know how to stand up straight and they kept smashing their head into my knee. Racists are the clumsiest bastards around. Sometimes you have to choke them out, just so they stop smashing into things.
