What is inspiration?
Is it a kind of consciousness?
Where does it come from?
Is it a kind of consciousness?
Where does it come from?
For the discussion of all things philosophical.

The genetic feces feels the need to spread its smell all over everything. Luckily we can grow a Texas Rose from this fertilizer it spews.mtmynd1 wrote:outsider is out, alright, out to dis' anything you say about his questions.
They are mere bait for the foolish fish to bite, wherein they feel they have the prerogative to reel you in with the simplest opposing views littered with the usual pejorative insults, the more the better to intimidate... regardless of any stated facts of truths. This is the Way of the Troll, clear and simple.
Amazing that A Mod continues allowing them to run this board... and actually quite pitiful.
Having said what I have about these trolls, observe their responses... and smile.
Inspiration is witness to miraculous events which defy all expectations. Sometimes, great men achieve great goals in life. The Wright Brothers build an airplane and fly it, when all the genetic feces of the world, skeptical as they are, simply refuse to believe in the imagination and achievement of mankind. Greatness breaks all expectation.Outsider wrote:What is inspiration?
It is a higher state of consciousness, one produced by master classes, and mastery of physical, emotional, or mental nature. When a man knows himself, knows the limits, and knows how to defy these limits, then he can become an inspirational force for others. The Olympics are almost complete, how many great acts of sportmanship and athletic performance serve as a reminder to human greatness?Outsider wrote:Is it a kind of consciousness?
It comes from what we call "soul" or "spirit". It is genetic. Some people have it, are born with an innate sense of self-mastery and greatness. Others are not, most are not. By definition of "majority", the majority is born normal, stupid, indolent, lazy, and pathetic, think of the Texas Rose here. You will never find "inspiration" from the majority. Inspiration is a rule of the minority.Outsider wrote:Where does it come from?
Nice to see how the troll tries to wreck anything philosophical happening around here.mtmynd1 wrote:outsider is out, alright, out to dis' anything you say about his questions.

So you are saying what Motivates is what inspires You.Thundril wrote:Anything that makes you want to do something better than you think you can is inspiration.
So you are saying hanging around phil. forums like this for months can inspire you into a philosopher? Inspiration is reliance on observation?A rookie burger flipper can be inspired watching an expert with 3 whole months experience.
So inspiration is overcoming an emotional inertia?Downtrodden people can be moved to do great things by listening to a speaker like Martin Luther King.
Anywhere between those two is inspiration - a much overused word these days.
Inspiration....to inspire: to draw in and make your own.Outsider wrote:What is inspiration?

Whenever a UN envoy visits Burma, hotel staff are told to install a strip of a pregnant woman’s sarong or underwear within the ceiling of the VIP’s suite. Traditional Burmese men are often superstitious that coming into contact with women’s undergarments will diminish their hpoun, or manly power.
Yes! I am inspired! that you said this.Atthet wrote: It is a higher state of consciousness, one produced by master classes, and mastery of physical, emotional, or mental nature. When I am inspired it is an external source that offers me the material to spark in my mind a flame in material already gathered and awaiting processing.
The fire burns on the energy of divergent material that lay scattered and unused, but things the mind stored seeing in them something valuable; a connection it could not piece together or light ablaze.
Then, suddenly, in the sunlight or by through a voice, as if divine in origin, the dry wood is kindled and a flame erupts; the mind becomes hot, it is illuminated with a shared release.
