Anywhere between those two is inspiration - a much overused word these days.

What is inspiration?

Inspiration is witness to miraculous events which defy all expectations. Sometimes, great men achieve great goals in life. The Wright Brothers build an airplane and fly it, when all the genetic feces of the world, skeptical as they are, simply refuse to believe in the imagination and achievement of mankind. Greatness breaks all expectation.

Imagine what it was like, when one man first realized the world is spherical, and round, when millions of other morons thought it was flat, and 2 dimensional. Imagine a revolutionary mind, man, and ability that defies all your expectations. That is the seed of inspiration.

Is it a kind of consciousness?

It is a higher state of consciousness, one produced by master classes, and mastery of physical, emotional, or mental nature. When a man knows himself, knows the limits, and knows how to defy these limits, then he can become an inspirational force for others. The Olympics are almost complete, how many great acts of sportmanship and athletic performance serve as a reminder to human greatness?

Unfortunately, genetic feces like Mmghf, are the haters of greatness. They want everything to be mediocre and stupid, weak and unwilling, scared and cowardly. These self-haters and nihilists, are the opposite of inspirational. They are leaches of inspiration. Mentally, they are the at the bottom of the "human" gene pool. Where does it come from?

It comes from what we call "soul" or "spirit". It is genetic. Some people have it, are born with an innate sense of self-mastery and greatness. Others are not, most are not. By definition of "majority", the majority is born normal, stupid, indolent, lazy, and pathetic, think of the Texas Rose here. You will never find "inspiration" from the majority. Inspiration is a rule of the minority.

It is, by definition, rare. The same holds true for intelligence. Inspiration can be said to be a form of great intelligence, passed on genetically. The reason why it skips generations, may be solved by the realization of Epigenetic factors.
