Inspiration
Inspiration
What is inspiration?
Is it a kind of consciousness?
Where does it come from?
Is it a kind of consciousness?
Where does it come from?
Re: Inspiration
Anything that makes you want to do something better than you think you can is inspiration.
A rookie burger flipper can be inspired watching an expert with 3 whole months experience.
Downtrodden people can be moved to do great things by listening to a speaker like Martin Luther King.
Anywhere between those two is inspiration - a much overused word these days.
Basically, it means breathing in.

outsider is out, alright, out to dis' anything you say about his questions.
They are mere bait for the foolish fish to bite, wherein they feel they have the prerogative to reel you in with the simplest opposing views littered with the usual pejorative insults, the more the better to intimidate... regardless of any stated facts of truths. This is the Way of the Troll, clear and simple.
Amazing that A Mod continues allowing them to run this board... and actually quite pitiful.
Having said what I have about these trolls, observe their responses... and smile.

The genetic feces feels the need to spread its smell all over everything. Luckily we can grow a Texas Rose from this fertilizer it spews.mtmynd1 wrote:outsider is out, alright, out to dis' anything you say about his questions.

Re: Inspiration
Inspiration is witness to miraculous events which defy all expectations. Sometimes, great men achieve great goals in life. The Wright Brothers build an airplane and fly it, when all the genetic feces of the world, skeptical as they are, simply refuse to believe in the imagination and achievement of mankind. Greatness breaks all expectation.Outsider wrote:What is inspiration?
Imagine what it was like, when one man first realized the world is spherical, and round, when millions of other morons thought it was flat, and 2 dimensional. Imagine a revolutionary mind, man, and ability that defies all your expectations. That is the seed of inspiration.
It is a higher state of consciousness, one produced by master classes, and mastery of physical, emotional, or mental nature. When a man knows himself, knows the limits, and knows how to defy these limits, then he can become an inspirational force for others. The Olympics are almost complete, how many great acts of sportmanship and athletic performance serve as a reminder to human greatness?Outsider wrote:Is it a kind of consciousness?
Unfortunately, genetic feces like Mmghf, are the haters of greatness. They want everything to be mediocre and stupid, weak and unwilling, scared and cowardly. These self-haters and nihilists, are the opposite of inspirational. They are leaches of inspiration. Mentally, they are the at the bottom of the "human" gene pool. This genetic feces is barely hanging on, like a turd ready to drop in the toilet, but still manages to cling onto the ass hairs of the asshole.
It comes from what we call "soul" or "spirit". It is genetic. Some people have it, are born with an innate sense of self-mastery and greatness. Others are not, most are not. By definition of "majority", the majority is born normal, stupid, indolent, lazy, and pathetic, think of the Texas Rose here. You will never find "inspiration" from the majority. Inspiration is a rule of the minority.Outsider wrote:Where does it come from?
It is, by definition, rare. The same holds true for intelligence. Inspiration can be said to be a form of great intelligence, passed on genetically. The reason why it skips generations, may be solved by the realization of Epigenetic factors.

Nice to see how the troll tries to wreck anything philosophical happening around here.mtmynd1 wrote:outsider is out, alright, out to dis' anything you say about his questions.

Even before anything gets started, the PissArtist is already at its job.
Are you somekind of posterboy for a Gobshite? because you are as thick as manure and only quarter as useful. Maybe that's where you get your inspiration from. No wonder you can't define it, when it makes your head so gaudy.

So you are saying what Motivates is what inspires You.Thundril wrote:Anything that makes you want to do something better than you think you can is inspiration.
So is inspiration goal-oriented?
So you are saying hanging around phil. forums like this for months can inspire you into a philosopher? Inspiration is reliance on observation?A rookie burger flipper can be inspired watching an expert with 3 whole months experience.
So inspiration is overcoming an emotional inertia?Downtrodden people can be moved to do great things by listening to a speaker like Martin Luther King.

Inspiration....to inspire: to draw in and make your own.Outsider wrote:What is inspiration?

When I am inspired it is an external source that offers me the material to spark in my mind a flame in material already gathered and awaiting processing.
The fire burns on the energy of divergent material that lay scattered and unused, but things the mind stored seeing in them something valuable; a connection it could not piece together or light ablaze.
Then, suddenly, in the sunlight or by through a voice, as if divine in origin, the dry wood is kindled and a flame erupts; the mind becomes hot, it is illuminated with a shared release.

Whenever a UN envoy visits Burma, hotel staff are told to install a strip of a pregnant woman’s sarong or underwear within the ceiling of the VIP’s suite. Traditional Burmese men are often superstitious that coming into contact with women’s undergarments will diminish their hpoun, or manly power.
Re: Inspiration
Inspiration.
1. Ruminative Judgements on Productive imagination in hyper-sensitive people trimmed by sub-conscious continual practice becomes so selective, it 'tags' patterns into the highest degree of a symmetry, resulting in a transformation where new needs are wedded into the results of older ones that have become a part of us.
2. Sudden release of a blocked aprior labour-intensive productive power, in a lightning quickness assimilates, adapts and subdues outer environments to inner conditions.
3. A state of joyful aggression in which an Accumulated Capital releases itself to impress itself upon foreign events and (in-) spirals its way into it; one feels 'fuller'.
4. A hypercreative drive that manages to make every stimulus into a re-sourc-ing loop, establishing a rhythm.
5. Such a Rapt state of self-absorption that everything appears tailor-made for one.
[I've just realized the etym. connect between rapt, rapture, and rape and its significance in defining inspiration.]
6. Effortless-effort of self-gifting self-con-centration.
7. A Vitality that spans the most distant memory into the most distant vision; an expansive swelling of the psyche.

Yes! I am inspired! that you said this.Atthet wrote: It is a higher state of consciousness, one produced by master classes, and mastery of physical, emotional, or mental nature. Why, Master races? Because inspiration needs a great aptitude for Obedience. Obedience to ruling judgements of when to stay on/off. Obedience comes with asceticism and self-discipline. *Discipere "to grasp intellectually, analyze thoroughly," from dis- "apart" + capere "to take, take hold of"; to seize, rapt, rape.
The Commanding races thus tend to have the greatest forces of/for inspiration.

Ah, so, then I can add one more;
8. The Receptive ability for a maximum fluid thinking that gathers everything As metaphors...
Re: Inspiration
A fluid environment requires an artistic flexible mind to perceive it as closely as one can.

Thus, difference between Living and Inspired-living; humans and the hu-Mans.
