Meat me at the abattoir for holy redemption ...
The three main holy books—Koran, Bible (Old Testament) and Torah—seem to reveal how the killing, or the sacrifice, of animals to appease, or ‘pay,’ God for humanity’s sins may be more representative of collective humanity’s voracious carnivorous ‘requirements’ than that of ‘paying’ for our sins ... How many billions of animals have been mass-produced for naught but a mass-slaughter eventuality—all for our palates’ sake?

There's only one main spiritual book, and that's the book of Revelation, O my brothers in tribulation, and although I don't recall anything in it about slaughtering animals, none of us would even be here except for animals killing each other since the begining of time.
