What does philosophy smell like?

As title says. What are your associations to the smell of philosophy?

Mine is sweat body, trees, and constipated poop, actually an interesting story but I'll shorten it to be about the impossibility of God and Good in life.

PS: the smell of books is sooooo stereotypical, and therefore not counted. Try think of the most interesting smells surrounding the situations that brough you to reflective and pondering thought, and made it stick beyond childhood.

Also to all the rest of the people here: seriously, you can't think of an interesting smell surrounding the situations you've pondered, thought deeply or come to wonder about philosophies questions and realms of thought?

Second only to books is the smell of bullshit, we all know that one. But in keeping with your request; engine oil. I spent a lot of time rebuilding Triumph motorcycle engines, I could work it out, but off the top of my head, there's only about 20 moving parts in the Edward Turner design. There's nothing to it, but there are plenty of nuts and bolts to undo and do up again, lots of time to get philosophical.

I don't, and I grew up on a farm. We had no bulls, only a cow. I guess I know the smell of cowshit xD

Philosophy is an abstract noun, It has no shape and physical body. It is as white as sunlight and i think sunlight has no smell, no shape however you can feel its warmth. I think when you go in a church, mandir, mosque, gurudwara, or any place where people are meditating God, you can feel the smell of incense there and i think that is the very smell of philosophy.
