The Law of Identity is the Fallacy of Equivocation; Identity is Self-Scaling Fixed Point Invariance; Identity is Recursion
If the law of identity is:
A=A
B=B
C=C
....
Infinity=Infinity
-A=-A
-B=-B
-C=-C
....
-infinity=-infinity
While dually ∀=∀ and -∀=-∀ and equality=equality (required for each if each is to have identity by degree of the law otherwise identity ceases outside of the law).
By degree of equality identity it repetition, recursion for equality requires relation and the relation of what repeats is equality. Thus a thing being equal to itself is the thing repeating recursively, in both abstract semantics and empirical repetition in time.
Then by the nature of LI the law is the fallacy of equivocation as everything that has identity is subject to itself and the infinite applications of the law are subject to the same identity of infinity equals infinity.
The "infinite applications of LI" is subject to LI as
IALI=IALI
Thus identity is a fixed structural process and not a a static state while simultaneously as a static state commits the fallacy of equivocation.
As
((A=)B=)C=)...)∀=∀)
(A=A)=(B=B)=(C=C)...(∀=∀)
As
LI = (A=A),(B=B),(C=C)...(∀=∀)
If A=A is true it is true by repetition of A thus truth is structure as if A is not equal to itself it does not repeat by equality.
Where
A=A
((A=A)=(A=A)) = (B=B)
((A=A)=(A=A)=(A=A)) =(C=C)
Thus B=C by degree of invariance of A=A and B=/=C by degree of scaling of A=A. In these respect LI simultaneously both occurs and does not occur as the act of distinction itself.
B=C by degree of common fixed point A.
B=/=C by degree of different scaling of A.
Thus A as self scaling results in both A=A and A=/=A relative context where equality is effectively context.
If B and C are effectively the scaling of A than one scaling of A as A is unequal to another scaling of A as A thus A scaling itself as a process not always equal to itself.
5 dogs does not equal 5 cats thus what 5 is and is not is not equal.
5 is different from 5 by what 5 contains yet the act of containing is what 5 is.
The Law of identity is equal to all things which are subject to identity under the Law of identity and yet the scaling of the LI is the contrast within LI.
Thus everything that requires identity is the self scaling of identity as identity results in self-scaling with contrast between scales being the identity itself. Thus for identity to occur A=/=A, or LI =/= LI, as the contrast of scales of identity is the only means universal equivocation through the law does not occur and the fallacy of equivocation is localized rather than universalized through LI.
Li as applying to the empirical and abstract and the identities of the empirical and abstract, and the identity of LI itself results in identity as both existing and transcending that which has identity as identity is the process of distinction derived from itself.

Again, similar to saying "dog" is "cat". Common sense says, "no, you are wrong". I'll go with common sense rather than live in delusion.

Define common sense outside of group consensus...Gary Childress wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2026 2:08 am Again, similar to saying "dog" is "cat". Common sense says, "no, you are wrong". I'll go with common sense rather than live in delusion.
So dog is an animal and cat is an animal. Thus one animal does not equal another animal.
Last time I check a dog equals a cat in the respect of th shared context of animal and do not equal eachother under the context as different scales of animal.
Dog=Cat in one context.
Dog=/=Cat in another context.
Or are you just going to flattened everything to one dimension?
