Many people have found that no matter what brand of thumb drive they buy, the damned things are intolerably slow. San Disk has sold it soul to lying about specs, all too often one will find today, that when you bitch about a product, the retort, automatically, well, perhaps you got a cheap Chinese knock off, which is often a downright lie. Stop pulling your hair out and dying of frustration trying to find out what is wrong with your computer because you really believe the lies of thumb drive makers.
So, here is a solution I use. You can get a used SSD cheap. You can get a cable to attach it to a USB3 port, cheap. You will get a several hundred percent improvement in read and write times.
So, you can grow old waiting for your falsely advertised thumb drive, or you tell them all to go fuck off and use a used, SSD.
Do not give the thumb drive a thumbs down, give it the finger.
