Especially if anyone or any of your friends have wad loads of cash because I want to purchase a house (I want to put a team of VR coders in there to create Alpha Two as the worlds first VR movie)

The soooooooooooooooooooooner the better because I've found the perfect house for motion capture etc...( it's one of my best lady friends houses, and she's trying to purchase her dream home in Port Noarlunga)

WOW, if any of you get the chance to come to Australia you must visit Port Noarlunga ----- it truly is heaven.

Another painting in development...

Portal of The Last Judgement -- Oil on Canvas
Image

This painting is from the archway of Notre Dame where I spent a couple of days whilst investigating Paris for my novel Alpha Two

https://frenchmoments.eu/west-facade-of ... dral-paris

The door-jamb statues represent on the left St. Bartholomew, St. Simon, St. James the Less, St. Andrew, St. John and St. Peter,
and on the right St. Paul, St. James the Greater, St. Thomas, St. Philip, St. Jude and St. Matthew.

* this is the left door-jamb

I found it very interesting the way the Saints are represented, particularly:-
-- the one holding the book is staring at the observer
-- the fourth from the left has a shroud over his arm as if concealing something
-- the gargoyles looking up at the Saints are all staring in different directions at the Saints above

Truly the artist mason or whoever designed the masonry truly knew something they wanted to convey.

In 1793, during the French Revolution, the cathedral was rededicated to the Cult of Reason,
and then to the Cult of the Supreme Being. During this time, many of the treasures of the cathedral were either destroyed or plundered.

A little bit more information regarding Grandfather Time

As you can see with the T-square, the pendulum once painted is vertical to the true horizon. The 'all-seeing-eye' is dead centre to the canvas.

It's a bit of an optical illusion where the front of the chessboard is slightly twisted (as per the painted wooden frame) and twisted even more at the back-end of the 'room'..I had to recalibrate some of the technical-drawing skills that St Georges taught me a long long time ago. I ended up using some twine across the centre of the canvas - pinned off horizontally and then marked two vanishing points on the twine which were a fair way off of the canvas - - to get the perspective correct for the chessboard.

So my vision is that the bob of the pendulum will be in large dark area towards the bottom of the painting. The chessboard will appear 'waxy' as if melting into that area too. I've got some ideas re the Owl atop the clock and the roots of the clock need a lot of work.
