Demoracy and Survivalism

Democracy and Survival
Our world today is in a social condition of Survivalism. In reality that is an anti-social condition. Environmental destruction and global warming are together at a peak that bodes ill for our survival at anything but a minimalist level. The extinction of agriculture in many parts of the world, bode ill for population stability. Mass migration is in the early stages, and cannot be accepted. The world and Britain have long been over populated for any natural state of survival.
Genuine social conditions must all be such as to be ‘sustainable’ as the populist term has it. Survival is not a democratic choice, unless suicide is considered a good choice. As matters stand in the ‘inevitable’ technological race and ‘progress’ we may find the sustainable outcome will be totalitarian, with a regime glorifying in AI and mass surveillance.
Numerous countries in the world are only democratic in the sense of holding elections, with mass support managed. The mere fact that there is majority support for a government, does not mean it is altruistically democratic. Democracy is not populism, but is a logical condition of society, opposed to tyranny, and opposed to globalised mass rule. The USA does at least recognises the separation of powers, with an effective supreme court and a legislature separate, at least in theory. Israel may be moving towards authoritarianism, with a debased supreme court. Many countries are theocratic, with culture-law-religion that is foisted on the population whether it is orthodox religion or not.
Effectively we are already in a global war, and a minimalist economy is essential.

I'm fairly certain if the US was forced to switch out the American Supreme Court for the Israeli, both the left and the right would impeach the living daylights out of it. Israel has no written constitution and those things don't work very well with democracy, you only have to look at the British for proof of this.... they USED to be a empire.
