Re: Unknowing
It seems wise to be wary of someone who regularly tells people what is the case while saying they know nothing.
Re: Unknowing
Nothingness is inseparable from all things as there are no distinction within nothingness that allows nothingness to be separate from a thing.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2023 4:24 pmIt seems wise to be wary of someone who regularly tells people what is the case while saying they know nothing.

Re: Unknowing
That is the same as saying "there is only being". However considering there are no distinctions within nothingness nothingness cannot be separate from being as there are no distinctions that allow for seperation.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:42 pmThere is no nothingness.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 7:46 pmNothingness is inseparable from all things as there are no distinction within nothingness that allows nothingness to be separate from a thing.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Sat Jul 08, 2023 4:24 pm

Nothingness cannot be proven as to prove nothingness would be to prove nothing, thus no proof.
Nothingness cannot be disproven as to disprove nothingness would be to disprove nothing, thus no disproof.

Stuff being nothing is a paradox.Iwannaplato wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 10:47 pmMore stuff that's not nothing.Eodnhoj7 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 9:22 pmThat is the same as saying "there is only being". Re: Unknowing
You can partially resolve that paradox by reducing nothing by half.

No, I prefer being told what is the case by someone claiming to know nothing.Constantine wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 2:47 am You can partially resolve that paradox by reducing nothing by half.

If you're an antirealist like Veritas, it must. And by 'like Veritas' I mean, having his kind of antirealism.
