Well, there you go. Have you ever read that fable about the wheat and the chaff? So, should the nude child photography be disregarded because of Carroll’s brilliance? To me, that is basically what it amounts to. ... I find it troubling how many experts and non-experts/fans still apologetically come to Carroll’s defense on this matter, as though his literary greatness still merits in contemporary times a blind eye on those unacceptable photographs.
How about the history of building civilizations, Does it bother you, that every craft known to man, the making of everything depends of separating the good from the bad. And, this bothers you? I say it is a perversion to dwell on the bad, when it contributes nothing to the result. Sure, things can be done better, especially when you are looking in the rear view mirror of the car. Well, there just went Milli's Diner. Ya know, they got good pumpkin pie.
You know, learning always involves mistakes, nobody can change them, but, you don't stop the car and decide to walk to California just because you need to rebuild the engine for better performance, especially when you are unemployed.
When you study CD, say his work in Geometry, can you find the pervert in the picture and dwell on it? So, I ask you, which was the better lit, Alice in Wonderland, or his work in mathematics? Think about that perversity.
So exactly what does your story have to do with the posted Topic? I, for one, need help in finding the wheat.
What I see, all the time, is this false reasoning, which leads up to a world incapable of making judgments, just letting it all hang out because it is hard to learn. So, which do you do? Burn the porn, or burn the books? A moral dilemma. Now, just were did all the famous libraries go?\
Now let us take the topic down to First Principles. Do you think evolution, itself, would have been possible, if the ability to parse information, which is exactly what the topic is, were not critical to survival? Oh, you did not think of it, the ability to distinguish good and evil, and parsing information, how the intelligible is identical?
So tell me, pick a subject from his work in mathematics and do a proper critique of it, or do the little girls catch your eye for some reason?
Now why do you think, a book about judgment, makes you judge every word it, for example two stories of creation, and the two stories of the mark on the head and hand? Why do you think people cannot read it, and down through the ages, someone just wants to burn it? With real fire, or the fire of the babbling? Too busy judging the dead, but incapable of judging the living? Or are they just one person?
So, who, in all of history, used it to help learn the science of words? Which author presented a whole new grammar system that no one was able to figure out? Which do you think learnt about judgment, Jerry Farlell, and his likes, or atheist, or agnostics? Why would a book about judgement, about words, make any one believe it was about shit? Did not Christ give you a hint, it is written just like a garbage dump, and you have to sift it, and you can only use the truth which resides in you. That method sifts you. Every science of man requires some ability to do just that.
Psycho-Linguistics is the hardest science to wrap one's brain around, and you prove your ability with it by example, say, helping evolve a whole species. Some have recognized that it was the Bible that helped speed up evolution in the sciences, but it was man's evolution, and those who saw it, only saw it dimly.
