Is there a God? If so, what is She like?

Why did God make an exception?

Post by bahman »

Genesis 3:22: And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Who are them that know good and evil? Why did God make an exception? I mean if they are beings who know good and evil then why did God prohibit Adam and Eve from eating the fruit and knowing good and evil?

Why in the world are you speaking of mythological fantasy as if you were speaking of something that actually took place?

Your question is legitimate, because those who made the myth have to be supposed to have something to communicate with it. The plural refers to God and his surrounding court. Good and evil is a "polar" expression to mean "everything".

Focusing, on the tree of knowledge of good and evil, symbolizing wisdom (The Bible, The New Oxford Annotated Bible Fourth Edition New Revised Standard Version With Apocrypha, 2010 CE, 2 Sam 14.17, Kings 3.9.) “Know that the welfare of everything…Consists in the mixture of good and evil…If evil were unmixed, creation would perish; if good were pure [our] examination would become pointless,” al-Jaiz (Chignell, Andrew. Evil a History, Oxford University Press, 2019 CE.) “And when [God] said to the angels, “Bow yourselves to Adam”; so they bowed themselves, save Iblis; he refused, and waxed proud, and so he became one of the unbelievers,” (Chignell, Andrew. Evil a History, Oxford University Press, 2019 CE.)

This was, and still is, just a story, explaining evolution.

Which ALL becomes self-explanatory, when LOOKED AT, and INTO, properly and correctly, or OPENLY, Honsestly, and FULLY.

So there I did it, again.

Where is God today. You really think anyone is an exception?
