What if we didn't know when we were living? Are we living in relation to Jesus and his birth? Or, to the reign of some medieval monarch or Pope as time was sometimes told in similar fashion to the manner of speaking of dynasties in the place now called China? Or, according to the number of years since the Gilgamesh was written? What bearing is there in the claim about a "heat event" billions of years ago? Do we even live in the "universe?"
