Welcome to this thread. I appreciate the trust and hope you have placed upon me.

I appreciate the path you are upon.

We are all the same. All beggars who are trapped. All prisoners.

Where I am at now is in no-way superior to you but I want to share, something you may, one day, be able to use.

There is a message...no better yet, a state of being, that approaches a freedom to a degree. A temporary freeing of ourselves, to a degree, from Birth after birth, Old Age, Disease, and Death.

This state of being does not need dogma of established religions, past philosophers, or storytellers.

This new state of being involves self-consciousness; Being able to see yourself.

Self understanding and truth.

Don't be afraid, one day, to overthrow your intellectualism.

It is the ultimate experience in philosophy and in spirituality.
Good luck in all you do.

I know this is a strange message, it is a paradox, being that we are all trapped within this medium, this forum, that, seems to favor intellectualism exclusively but, nevertheless, I think this needs to be stated.

Using the GIF above as a metaphor, I can say, there is much more below the surface, much more beyond our intellectualism as far as philosophy or our spirituality is concerned.

Our life-giving bread as philosophers is truly below the surface.
Our food; our goal, is located within a more complete state of being.

Intellectualism and Philosophy are deeply dependent upon each other to maintain their intellectualism and philosophies. Without either one there wouldn't be intellectualism or philosophies. And mind is the origin of these two combined. If it wasn't for mind to comprehend intellectualism or philosophies... where would any of them be?

If its temporary then what the point?
This state of being does not need dogma of established religions, past philosophers, or storytellers. ...
So why are you telling this story?
This new state of being involves self-consciousness; Being able to see yourself.

Self understanding and truth.
Neither of which you appear to have?
Don't be afraid, one day, to overthrow your intellectualism.

It sounds great but like all gnus you appear unable to achieve it yourself nor have any techniques, methods or even clues on how to achieve this experience. Just bog-standard gnushit.

I know this is a strange message, it is a paradox, being that we are all trapped within this medium, this forum, that, seems to favor intellectualism exclusively but, nevertheless, I think this needs to be stated. ...
What do you mean by "intellectualism"?

I am reflecting a perspective that is rather esoteric. Perhaps too esoteric for this site & the active members therein.

Of coarse we need our intellectual function. It is, in fact, our saving grace. However, there is a point, a jumping off point, just before enlightenment, that requires us to go beyond our intellect. This is often referred to as a type of intuition.

That's because we know gnushit when we hear it.
