It's time for the government to sell all its property to private interests.

How should society be organised, if at all?

The government should not own anything, not even a single paperclip!

No one here can do anything about that, go and tell your government. You're always whining about something.

No Bob, it is time for all to sell everything they own to the government. The people have become officially "The Great unwashed." They cannot care for themselves. The government with great compassion has condescended to take care of you and everyone else so we can all bask in the glory of government dictated equality. That is why you won't need anything and should just sell all you have to the government at discounted rates. It is the least you can do for an institution that loves you so and is willing to care for you. The only obligation of the Great Unwashed will be to believe, obey, and pay the bills of their elitist leaders. Isn't it wonderful. Utopia is on the horizon.

Well, I'll tell you one thing, when the AEP takes over its first city, that policy will be immediately implemented!

I don't know what the AEP is and I don't know what policy you're talking about. Your posts just keep getting more and more boring.

Man, you've got a short memory. The AEP is the theoretical American Energy Party, with its own flag, logo and Champagne Sherry modus operandi.

If I ever knew what it was, and I don't think I did, it doesn't surprise me that I forgot about it. Of what interest is the American Energy Party supposed to be to me?

The AEP is an American political party that is going to take over a State and then demand secession from the Union if its demands are not met, kind of like Brexit except with a political program in mind.

What could go wrong?

Bob, you are way too emotional to take your thoughts seriously. The sooner you realize this, the better.

Just an fyi.

Name me a single emotional thought. My approach is 120/80 cold and calculating.

The only proper function of government is social integration, like a traffic cop keeping people from running into each other. Government should not own, operate, support or promote ANYTHING!

How would government even accomplish social integration if it couldn't so much as use a paperclip to clip together the memo the ordinance was written on?

Bob, you ought to come to New South Wales, Australia. Our state government is selling its assets to private interests as fast as it can. Roads, electricity, water, property, just to name a few.
