This article is great because it points out the problem of infinite regression. A person can't choose the preferences with which they use to make any decision. If they did somehow choose them, it would be based on a different set of unchosen preferences. This is essentially determinism, but because the argument doesn't use the word determinism, it should be clear for the less philosophically minded.
