Being the Next Philosopher -
The personal study and experience of one's own consciousness is the next, only, and true philosophy.
Nothing outside us, no subject in the three dimensional world matters except the study of philosophy.
Jung, Julian Jaynes, Peter Ouspensky all deal, in some aspect with the study of consciousness.
The next most important philosopher in this digital revolution is obvious; it's you.
The study happens within each moment, and if done correctly, will relinquish the most important meaning of your life; self consciousness.
The next, best, and most important philosopher is you; begin.

Self-consciousness; The miracle of a simple element of hydrogen watching itself within a backdrop of infinity.
Self-consciousness...it's not you watching you. It's the universe watching itself.

What's up with the obsession of consciousness on this site?
Re: ~ Being the Next Philosopher ~
The Universe watching itself.
Just watching ?
Also formulating some thoughts perhaps ?

I've actually done this theme before...more than once. In those past threads I stated that, Hydrogen, if left alone long enough, will create language and be able to become self-conscious with moments of higher consciousness.

So showing a mother and her child being run over is 'Being the Next Philosopher' is it?
This is the way to self or higher consciousness is it?
If so you can shove it up your Gnu arse.

Number one - Thought you put a filter on your account and stopped viewing images somehow.
Number two - That's not even in this thread.
Number three - The thread where I used that particular image in it was pertinent to the communication I was having.
Number four - it's members like you that ruin the possible real value to this site.
As I stated before, members like yourself should not even view my threads. Actual full throated individual philosophers get what I am doing. Granted only one out of ten here understand what Being the Next Philosopher really means.
As an artist I realize what I am.

Not somehow, easily. All one has to do is use the handy 'disable images' function in the user-control panel and voila! This allows one to choose whether to be inflicted by images from someone else's tawdry subconscious.Bill Wiltrack wrote:.

And yet a reflection of being the 'next philosopher'.Number two - That's not even in this thread.
Was it, so you were wishing serious injury, possible death and pain and anguish upon another?Number three - The thread where I used that particular image in it was pertinent to the communication I was having.
And that would be? As it's not philosophizing.Number four - it's members like you that ruin the possible real value to this site.
This full-blown philosopher gets what you are doing, it's just that it should be on a psychoanalysis site or tumblr or snapchat or any other social-media site where the gnu can seek acolytes and approbation. As I stated before, members like yourself should not even view my threads. Actual full throated individual philosophers get what I am doing.
It doesn't really mean anything. Granted only one out of ten here understand what Being the Next Philosopher really means.
Then you should be upon an Arts site. You're not an artist Bill, trawling the weeb for images for whatever catches the current state of your subconscious angst is de rigueur amongst the internuts, you're just one of a large herd.As an artist I realize what I am..

As I said...some people get what I am doing here - most don't.
Obvious which category you find yourself in.
Here is an image for you to enjoy.
...............................................
Life for you is expressed in a soft, cuddly, kitty-cat!
This is the same way you want your philosophy to be; warm, soothing & cute.
Again, no offense, but it is best for both you and I that you limit the members that you allow yourself to view here...otherwise it will surely disturb you beyond your boundaries.
Toodles.

Everyone gets what you're doing Bill, there's a whole raft of social-media sites where others are doing the same thing but much better, it's just not philosophy nor that interesting.Bill Wiltrack wrote:.As I said...some people get what I am doing here - most don't.
Yup, the anti-gnu camp.Obvious which category find yourself in.

Actually no, life for me is best expressed watching kids being born and grow.Life for you is expressed in a soft, cuddly, kitty-cat!
LMAO! This from the gnu who says there is no death, that we're all eternal, that it's all a chemical oneness looking at 'itself', which can be discovered by mystical revelation, return to your 'God' Bill you need 'it'. You have no philosophy Bill other than whatever your existential angst and tawdry subconscious dregs-up whilst trawling the image sites and which you then in your narcissism think should be inflicted upon others. This is the same way you want your philosophy to be; warm, soothing & cute.
The only thing that disturbs me Bill is that you think your schtick has anything new to say philosophically.

You couldn't discuss it if you didn't have one. So clearly it''s central to all philosophy, because only consciousness can create and ponder philosophy.Jaded Sage wrote:What's up with the obsession of consciousness on this site?
That's 'what's up' with the obsession over consciousness. Now go ponder rationally.

Hyperbole: In oratory, it emphasizes, evokes strong feelings, and creates strong impressions.
I appreciate the complement. I feel more comfortable with these types of affirmations.
Although you may still call me god. I don't mind that at all.

It's also an unnecessary exaggeration as quite clearly you've not been the luckiest person in the world, just a very lucky one to have been born where you are, so not 'hell' but a relative paradise.Bill Wiltrack wrote:.
