EVERYONE Finally Agrees - Universal Health Care is Good for America!

Post by Bill Wiltrack »

Obama supports the idea of universal health care. So does Trump, who said in the 1990s, "I believe in universal health care. I believe in whatever it takes to make people well and better.”

Bernie Sanders
advocates Universal Single Payer Health Care.

Hillary Clinton introduced single payer universal health care over 20 years ago.

Eliminates for-profit health care, dramatically drops health care costs, improves available care & has overwhelming support by US citizens.

...the only people who don't like it are health insurance companies.

LET'S DO THIS!

It's a no-brainer, Bill. All you need to do is compare the cost and efficiency of the US health system with that of other nations which have universal health care. The US ranks highest in terms of per capita cost in the whole world but down with the third world nations in terms of health outcomes.

At the moment you are under the thrall of the insurance companies. This needs to change.
Until you come up with a system in which the insurance companies are not being allowed to cream-off the top 15-20%, it will always be inefficient and too costly to provide widely.
You might also have to re-introduce corporation taxes, and taxing the rich, to pay for it.

Perhaps you could even consider replacing your optional taxation system for a compulsory one.

If you are going to have government-mandated universal health care system, under AEP theory there is only one proper way to accomplish it. The government must annually fund every person in the U.S. with a health account that builds up over time, and can only be used to pay medical expenses. It can only be funded by the government through a single tax on property, property being defined as anything with intrinsic market value.

Bill, you say "everyone finally agrees", and, Bob, you say "there's only one proper way".

How about this...

Leave me the hell alone to pay my own bills (medical, food, gas, electric, etc.).

'nuff said.

Under the AEP system, you can reject participation, but you still have to pay taxes.

I got no problem with taxes...taxes are the same, to me, as paying for the products and services I use...I don't like debt: I pay my bills.

I got a significant problem with paying taxes that are ill-spent, and, I got a significant problem with paying somebody else's bills.

So, Bob, in the same way that I'm not participating in the ACA, I won't participate in your scheme either.

Jail me (if you can).

I'm not talking about the criminal ACA, I'm talking about the policies of the AEP.

Well, I know you don't like to pay taxes of any kind for any reason, but the difference under the AEP, is that if one person gets $10,000, everybody gets $10,000. That's one major difference between the AEP and every other political party on Earth.

That's only a minor difference, Bob, because crackpot political parties are ten a penny on the global political stage. However the AEP is certainly unique in that it is headed up by the personal appointee of the big G himself. Your country is full of stone-age religious shitheads as well as many violent psychopaths so if you keep hammering away at this religious angle your success should be assured because you should be able to count on your dedicated acolytes and their lethal assault weapons to cut a swathe through your opponents all the way to the top.

A cautionary note of advice from a well-meaning supporter, mate. Try to avoid economic questions where possible and just stick to the simple stuff which your target audience will understand.

You will be receiving my invoice for this latter consultancy in due course and I'd advise you to attend to it without delay. Even downunder we have ugly men with more tattoos than teeth who are in great demand for the collection of such remittances.

"Well, I know you don't like to pay taxes of any kind for any reason..."

I repeat...

I got no problem with taxes...taxes are the same, to me, as paying for the products and services I use...I don't like debt: I pay my bills.

I got a significant problem with paying taxes that are ill-spent, and, I got a significant problem with paying somebody else's bills.
