The Decimation of Democracy

Decimation
- It is frequently used as a synonym for the word "annihilation" "to reduce to non-existence, blot out of existence", or for "devastation", to lay waste.

Democracy - a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.

There is a world-wide overt philosophical marriage between Communism and capitalism.

This marriage is marked throughout the free world with reduction in freedoms and safeguards formally reserved for individual human beings.

Capitalism works best when there are little to no human rights. No workplace rights. No civil rights.

That is our new emerging reality.

NOTHING can or will stop this march to efficiency and increase profit.

China has the potential to be TEN TIMES the marketplace as America.

Now comes the Trans Pacific Partnership.

The Trans Pacific Partnership is far larger than NAFTA – covering 40 percent of America’s global trade.

When it’s enacted, workers and consumers throughout the world will be made even worse off because of another provision that allows global corporations to sue countries whose health, safety, labor, or environmental regulations crimp their corporate profits.

It establishes a tribunal outside any nation’s legal system that can force a nation to reimburse global corporations for any such “losses.”

Capitalism is the largest if not only economic system on earth. China is the largest marketplace.

Profit is the new god. An exclusive, brutal, and jealous god. Corporations are the messenger angels.

Evil MUST be destroyed.

Oh, by the way...YOU are the evil.

Yes, this is largely correct in my view. However, It depends on the country in question. When it comes to China it is the partnership between between big government and big corporations. A.K.A., corporatism. When it comes to the U.S.A. it is neo-corporatism.

Ginkgo, saying Wiltrack is largely correct doesn't do much for your own credibility.

Good point. Although it is possible that anyone can "jag'' one as a once off given enough postings.

 That made me laugh, and for that I must be grateful, even though I disagree with every single thing you have ever said.

That's a good example of how diseased minds talk themselves into and justify destroying other people.

I'm assuming that you are referring to capitalism.

Although I am sure the case could be made against Democracy depending upon one's view point.

Would you care to expand upon your original statement?

I think you are confused. Bill is not arguing that little to no human rights is a good thing. He is arguing that when people are slaves their owners make more money.

These current events are proof that we are being enslaved. The elite know that when they take that last 5% of the world's wealth (and leave us,those that created the wealth, with nothing) we will revolt.
1. TPP (NAFTA on steroids)
2. Citizen's united. The rich control all political discussion.
3. The end of net neutrality. The elite can censor any site or news item that contradicts their propaganda.
4. The end of our right to a trial. We no longer have a right to a trial!!!!!!

In a way I am glad I'm on the back nine...if not on the eighteenth green.

Looks like things are going to get shittier & shittier.

There is a pall in America that I feel and others around me have verbalized to me.

Economically and emotionally the American middle class is on the wane...and we know it.
