If you were a woman in Betty Mahmoody's "pre escape from Iran" position and your husband / "significant other" had you trapped in the "Islamic paradise" from which he happened to come and the main reason is that he wanted to "wreak major terrorist havoc" in your home country and have you in a position to be UNABLE to do anything about it, would you metaphorically "throw him under a bus" by alerting the officials / authorities of your home country if

(A) you could even get to the embassy of your home country

(B) if your home country even still had diplomatic contact with your husband's "Islamic paradise"


(C) you're sure your country's embassy officials would even believe your claims about your husband / "significant other" being a "particularly terrifying terrorist" in your eyes, and that they would also be sympathetic to your situation and inclined to help you correct the biggest mistake of your life if you are also starting to feel that your marriage to him is a big mistake.
