Is there a book of specious arguments for refuting? Philosophy invites negation, but being new to the field and an amateur, I'd like to strengthen my refutation skills by practicing on known examples of flawed argument.
Like philosophical sandcastles, put up in order to be kicked down. It could perhaps include example answers, so amateurs like me can see how the pros stick the boot in.
I'm not only talking about logic but metaphysical, semantic, ethical and epistemological flaws.
Can anyone help?
Tim

Yeah, I think I can help...your original argument is specious.
Philosophy is nothing if it is not alive.
Philosophy is here in the moment.
Specious arguments exist all around us.
Our lives are nothing but ONE specious argument.
Hope that helps...
...as far as a book...I don't know.
I heard they invented this thing called the internet. Perhaps that would be a good place to start?
