God here I define as a best ideal, natural or supernatural or whatever gives you the best rules and laws to live by.
Consider first, that you are an animal first, and anything else after your mental birth.
The God, or best ideal or type of an ant, is an ant.
The God, or best ideal or type of a lion, is a lion.
The God, or best ideal or type of a human being, is a human being.
We are natural and spiritual beings, not supernatural beings, and should thus follow a natural and spiritual religion, not a supernatural based religion.

Jesus is the best or ideal type of a man: that description of Jesus suits a modern age which is scientific not supernatural.
It does, as far as it goes, until he gets grandiose. He was inclusive, a socialist, a leveller, through peaceful means. He was kind.

I know right wing Christian morality and it sucks.
It begin with embracing the notion that it is salvific to punish the innocent instead of the guilty.
Can't get much lower than that, except for inquisitions and jihads.

I don't know about chosen.
Nowhere in the Bible is Jesus ever chosen or elected to the Christ position.

A useful scapegoat, for man to unload his imperfections, i.e., sins.
The Jews select a chicken actualize the unloading of their yearly sins, into it, and then sacrifice it...
This is the sacrificial lamb.
Sacrifice....from the Latin sacrum facia - to make sacred.
Christ is made sacred by slaughtering him as the Jews slaughter a lamb.
Scapegoat.
Judas goat....the use of a goat to lead the sheeple to slaughter.
Jesus is a Judas goat.

Yes. One does wonder which utterances in the Gospels are actually said by Jesus, and which by later commentators.
