Well, if Determinism is true, there’s no “you” it can “seem” to, and no way you can “have an opinion.” Opinions, like Harbals, are nothing other than the inevitable product of impersonal forces of physics. They could never be other than whatever they turn out to be.
A human being regarded as an individual, this concept is known.
Then human cannot be immortal! So the question is what is in human that is immortal?
