I think they might be the same thing from where I am. Suppose you have an accent, and then you learn not to. That is what I mean by learning. I mean getting closer to being a cosmopolitan, here meaning a citizen of nowhere in particular instead of a citizen of everywhere.

Whether it exists or not shouldn't matter. God, whatever, if ever, doesn't deserve worship. It may punish me for it, but I don't and won't worship mysterious tyrants.

Learning is about growing. I can still do my accent from childhood, I do posh, and I do American. Learning is additive and progressive. Part might be pruned for new growth buy the the tree accumulates wood nonetheless.
