This is typical of wokies though. Ever the hypocrites. Never defending those who actually need defending-- i.e. children (unless it suits their political agenda). Even his comment where he feigned horror at the abandoned border-crossing children was tainted with a 'but'-- proving how insincere he is. Of course he can't help any of this. It was all determined at the Big Bang.
Wrong on multiple counts, accelafine—impressive, really.

First, it was Fish, not me, who derailed the thread by dragging in Muslims and unloading an unhinged screed about rape, Sharia law, and cherry-picked Quran quotes. I responded to that nonsense, and I stand by every word of it.

Second, I’ve actually lived for years—on and off—in both Iran and Abu Dhabi. I’ve worked, interacted, debated, and broken bread with Muslims from different walks of life. So no, I’m not relying on headlines, stereotypes, or online paranoia to form my views. I speak from experience—not from fear.

And as for your laughable claim that I don’t care about children unless it suits my “agenda”—again, wrong. I said sending kids alone over the border is tragic, dangerous, and horrifying. But if your worldview can’t process both compassion for the child and empathy for the desperate parent, that’s not moral clarity—it’s emotional bankruptcy.

Also, thanks for reminding everyone you still don’t understand determinism. If I’m a product of causes going back to the Big Bang, so are you. So maybe ask yourself: what set of causes led you to this dead-end of mockery, bad faith, and fact-free projection?

Because if this is what passes for insight on your end… the bang wasn’t very big.

How do you know how 'desperate' the parents were, if at all? You are just making up crap and pulling it out of your arse to show how 'compassionate' you are. How about sticking to what we do know--that children are being sent over the border ALONE.
Did you sit around singing 'kumbaya' with those muslims while you were 'breaking bread'? When you 'lived in Iran' did you stand up for the young girls who are hanged from cranes for the 'crime' of being raped by mullahs? For the women who are forced to be covered from head to toe or risk being beaten or much worse? You make me sick. Men are perfectly fine and dandy in countries like Iran--unless of course they are gay. The fact is that you were free to leave and move back to the US where you will most likely never see another muslim. You were a man, probably well-heeled, living in Iran BY CHOICE, free to leave whenever you want. How stunning and brave and virtuous of you.
Actually you are the one who doesn't understand determinism.

How do you know how 'desperate' the parents were, if at all? You are just making up crap and pulling it out of your arse to show how 'compassionat' you are. How about sticking to what we do know--that children are being sent over the border ALONE.

You’re flailing now, accelafine—loud, angry, and entirely off the rails.

You accuse me of “making up” the desperation behind parents sending kids alone to the border. Meanwhile, mountains of evidence—journalist investigations, human rights reports, firsthand accounts—document the exact conditions that drive those decisions. You don’t want to know the facts. You just want an excuse to deny compassion.

As for Iran—yes, I saw the brutality of the regime. I saw the courage of women protesting it. I spoke out where I could, listened more than I talked, and left with a deep respect for the people risking everything for change. What I didn’t do was sit in a safe country on a keyboard mocking their suffering and pretending that every Iranian is an oppressor. That part’s your shtick.

And no—determinism doesn’t mean shrugging off evil. It means understanding that all actions have causes, and if we want change, we deal with those causes, not scream at the symptoms. You think you’re being righteous, but all you’ve done here is expose how little you grasp the complexity of the world—and how desperate you are to be on the "right" side, even if it means standing on a pile of other people’s humanity.

You say I make you sick? Good. That means your moral compass still has some response to decency—it just can’t figure out where it’s pointing.

I must be 'flailing' because you say it. Sure I am. Since you have so much evidence of 'suffering, desperate parents' then you must have names from the court cases where they were charged with child abandonment/accessory to murder. Spit it out then. I'm all ears.
You 'spoke out' in Iran? Sure you did, Mike/AI. We know you must have because you are the moral standard-bearer for the rest of us.
By deflecting your 'faux compassion' from the actual victims to imaginary ones you get to flex your virtue-signalling muscles, thus demonstrating that you don't actually care about anyone-- least of all children. It's a classic wokie tactic. You get to signal your virtue and claim the moral highground. Two birds with one stone as it were.

Accelafine: Oh give me a break. The US has extreme 'poverty and violence'. Where they are 'fleeing' from is probably a lot nicer than what they are going to. They are lured by the 'American dream' bs, i.e. money and the promise of untold riches. Americans need to stop crowing about how 'great' their country is because stupid people will believe it. Frankly I would much rather live in Mexico.
I believe I can help with some clarifications. First, if you are among the disadvantaged classes in Latin America you may not live horribly but you will live within constraints very difficult to rise out of. I speak in terms of access to university education and economically.

Migrating to the US, from such circumstances, is desired because one can through dedication and work more quickly get ahead. Say in 5-10 years.

The harder part, for people here in those classes, is to have to separate themselves from family and to live in the “colder” North (emotional coldness and winter cold).

I know numerous people who went north, worked hard for years, saved their money, then came back and established a business. I have a contact who worked in demolition in Miami, earned good money, and with it bought some properties that now provide rental income here.

Meso-Americans (for example) who migrate to the US are more often than not in that social class (my experience is with Colombians).

You need a certain level of wealth to live well in Latin America. If you have it, life can be semi-paradisal. But if you don’t, generally pretty hard.

But doesn't that apply in the US as well? They could always try emigrating the legal way if they want to take their chances in the US so much. Even here there are quite a lot of Mexicans and Colombians. I have a half South American grandchild. They don't come here on dinghies

I am not defending the illegal emigration or the illegal over-staying of visas. I was only explaining the motive.

Millions of people over the last few years simply took advantage of the fact that the border seemed open. It was televised constantly here. I assume everywhere.

Some go the legal route. But usually you have to have a certain economic standing, sponsors, and existing connections in the US.

My contact who did demolition in Miami had a sister in NY (naturalized) who sponsored him. So he went all legal route. Amazingly hardworking man. He saw an opportunity and took it. The fact is that many immigrants have just that spark.

I have little issue with any Muslim I have ever met. I used to go for an occasional walk with one on breaks at work - every few paces he'd talk about some 'profit' "peace be upon him" -- Fred Flintstone "Peace be upon him" bla bla - what a bunch of arse kissing.

godelian insists that Christians worship a man and that's abhorrent, yet he and ALL Muslims bow down to the birthplace of the most evil non divine man that ever lived, many times a day. You kept insisting i have some form of hate towards them - no, I find their ideology worthy of hate - where they agree that menstruated little girls are fair game - and killing people that don't agree with them, or leave their religion - apostasy.

I have learned MORE about how disgusting the "men" of Islam are from the women that have escaped their regimes - if it was boatloads of women coming in with children I'd have a FAR better appreciation of their plight. It's not, and to suggest these men are "fleeing" and requiring asylum is ridiculous to the extreme. None of them appear to have any concern for women from whence they came. The problem with housing these uneducated form of fighting age men, is that they HATE the west. Watch Briggite Gabriel (from Lebanon) talk about the statistics per the billions of Muslims and the percentage of that number that hate the West and want it destroyed - it's in the MILLIONS. If I find her talk on stage that I watched some time ago I will post it.

AGAIN:

Please, do tell me of all the Islamic countries that have freedoms and democracy for their people.

How do these stats add up for you, the Danish actually bother to record the origin of people that per capita are committing violent crimes (*they arn't cowered by the likes of you calling people "racist")

These are the people you think are requiring ASYLUM - duh!

Yes, I do not want one more Muslim to step foot on the beautiful British Isles..or any of Europe for that matter. The stabbings/rapes etc are never reported on mainstream media - they support the globalist agender where British/European culture is not worth shit.

MASS immigration is a failure. You have enclaves where these foreigners have no allegiance to Britain and its ethical values, they don't bother to learn to speak English, because they don't need to. They tell British people when walking their dogs in "their" neighbourhoods to get out with their filthy animal etc. etc...

What do you think of Islamic men forcing little boys as slaves to dress as women and dance in front of them - originated in Pakistan and is big in Afganistan..
Bacha bāzī [1] (/ˈbɑːtʃɑːbɑːˈzi/, Pashto and Dari: بچه بازی, lit. 'boy play') refers to a pederasty practice in Afghanistan in which men exploit and enslave adolescent boys for entertainment and/or sexual abuse.[2][3][4][5] The man exploiting the young boy is called a bacha baz (literally "boy player").[3] Typically, the bacha baz forces the bacha to dress in women's clothing and dance for entertainment.[3][6] The practice is reported to continue into the present as of 2025.[7][8][9]

Yep, I don't want these vile cultures/ideologies in my country - we are being infiltrated, they get the vote (there are videos of Muslims proudly stating how they are outbreeding the native population - Sweden is in dire straits right now with it) and soon 20 years perhaps, Britain will fall into anarchy, civil war based on ethnic ideological conflicts. The Muslims are getting into positions of power within the UK goverment...I have seen videos of Muslims openly explaining how they intend to undermine our freedoms and install their vile ideology upon the UK/European people - infiltrating military etc..

Wise up ffs.

You want a response? Fine. Here it is—raw and undiluted.

You’ve vomited out a bloated mess of paranoia, cherry-picked horror stories, YouTube fear porn, and fringe stats—all to justify your fantasy that you’re the last moral sentinel guarding civilization. But the truth? You’re not defending anything. You’re just terrified. Not of violence. Not of rape. But of complexity. Of nuance. Of a world you can’t control and barely understand.

Let me be absolutely clear: I don’t defend Islam. I don’t defend Christianity. I don’t defend Judaism. I’m a determinist and an atheist—I reject them all. You know why? Because they’re all built on the same deranged, irrational dogma: free will.

At the core of every one of these religions is the fantasy that people are little gods, freely choosing good or evil, worthy of eternal reward or punishment. It’s intellectual lunacy. Ex falso quodlibet—from falsehood, anything follows. That’s why these ideologies collapse into violence, blame, and hate. That’s why the history of all three is soaked in blood.

So it’s no mystery why you’re drawn to this stuff—you’ve simply traded one delusion for another. You think by hating a specific religion, you’ve broken free. But you haven’t. You’re still in the same prison of magical thinking—just shouting from a different corner.

You scream about asylum seekers and crime stats, but you never ask: what causes it? What systems, what wars, what economic exploitation, what historical chains led to these outcomes? Because once you admit everything is caused, once you ditch the fairytale of “evil invaders,” your whole worldview disintegrates.

That’s why you cling to fear and bigotry. Because it’s easier than admitting your outrage is built on a lie.

So no—I’m not “waking up” to your fantasy of civil war and cultural invasion. I’m wide awake. I see the rot, and I know exactly where it starts: in the lie of free will, and in the people who need that lie to keep feeling righteous while drowning in hate.

When the shouting stops and all that’s left is “go away,” it’s clear who ran out of facts—and who never had any to begin with.

You can call truth a lie all you want, but the record speaks for itself: you built your case on sweeping generalizations, YouTube fear bait, and raw emotional projection. I responded with clarity, reason, and firsthand experience. You folded.

So yes, I’ll go—but not because you asked. Because you’ve already conceded the argument.

Loudly. Publicly. And completely.
