Dreams
Re: Dreams
i wanted to add, just incase anyone might jump to conclusions, which is easy to do, i do it all the time, i don't take that to mean 'i am a mirror of heaven' (no way whatsoever) nor did i take any of that to mean 'the troops were either' or in any way anyone might assume i might have taken it to be. i'm just sharing what happened and that's it. take it as you like or don't bother with it at all. whatever.. just thought i'd share that and spare any possible wrong presumptions.

Wow...that is awesome!bus2bondi wrote:but anyway, this one was 'in spring', or 'eigsprieg'... i kept saying to myself... 'eigsprieg?' never heard of that before, so anyways 'in spring/eigsprieg'
i'm going to leave something out that i thought what it might be and keep it to myself, i felt that was too ambiguous, and i let it go, finally, i think it was yesterday actually, i typed in those words on the net, and what i found was that it meant, 'the mirror of heaven.'
Im no dream analyser and as i said, you the dreamer would be the best interpreter. But i do know the system..God very well.
You see, this God system has definitely projected these two dreams...therefore, there is a reason for them being coupled together within a couple of days of each other.
I could be way off the mark here but here goes...
With the first one, your worst fears are being highlighted to you, you are insecure, fearful for your son, and yourself. The second one you are receiving affirmation (of quite the opposite). It is this opposite position that you need to have faith in..the truth is...and this is something that most of the populous that have earned it, don't real eyes. You are in heaven. boom boom.
If you consider the existence of a God controlled multiverse, take for a moment to consider the power of such an entity. A prospective thief walks past your house. You have left the front door wide open. The thief glances at your house. In his perception of reality, your door is closed. The mirror of heaven.
Perhaps you are worried about your son too much. Let him go and explore the world.
We work, we strive to build heaven here on Earth.

are the two mutually exclusive?chaz wyman wrote: Dreams are not cryptic messages about the future; they are your brain sorting material of your experience.
my dream of being buried alive by a serial killer was obviously the result of too much "criminal minds" - my family now ganged up on me and won't let me watch it - and not a message about the future
on the other hand my dreams about the weather are slightly more reliable than the weather forecast on TV
yes i know this sounds really weird and makes me sound like a kook

Okay tell me what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.Kayla wrote:are the two mutually exclusive?chaz wyman wrote: Dreams are not cryptic messages about the future; they are your brain sorting material of your experience.
As there can be NO cryptic massages available about the future, they are indeed mutually exclusive.

I doubt it. Guess work is not a cryptic massage about the future.
What you might be experiencing is that at times when your dream matches the weather - you are more likely to notice it. This is called selective bias.
yes i know this sounds really weird and makes me sound like a kook
We can compare it with the forecast and see what happens tomorrow.

i cannot have weather dreams on demandchaz wyman wrote:Okay tell me what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.

next time i have a weather forecast dream i will write it down, put it in an envelop, put a signature across the seal and mail it to myself
i know about selective bias
last night I had a dream where i was trying to take tricorder readings of a car wreck while some guy in a wheel chair wearing a ski mask was trying to shoot me - with a regular pistol, not a phaser or anything
the transporter, of course, was broken
not much help in predicting the weather i am afraid

If you really think you can predict the weather then that is part of a wider delusion you have about the condition of the world you live in.Kayla wrote:i cannot have weather dreams on demandchaz wyman wrote:Okay tell me what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.

Re: Dreams
thanks attofishpi, i appreciate what you had to say about my nightmare and the words i received after it, although, as far as i've found, it has more significance than purely personal. i understand what your saying and will try to always keep it in mind. i had another nightmare the other night, and no words in pure awake mode attatched (such as put in a load of laundry, then went out to my porch to have a cigarette type pure awake mode, then it hits) that i posted a bit about in another thread, but that one i think was one of the 'normal' ones, however, it did have an impact on me.
i believe you kayla, maybe you have a weather vane in your brain?
perhaps you have a weather vane in your brain
one day its going to snow
one day its going to rain
everything else is normal
but when the lightning hits
you've got on your umbrella
well isn't that the shits??
i don't have dreams that forecast the weather myself, but i think it would be pretty interesting if i did. aside from my own self having experiences i won't get into, looking deeply at and in the world, the universe, everything, i find that it's very very very very difficult to discount the possibility of what your saying.

I predict it is either going to rain or it's not and I'm absolutely sure that this is true.

Re: Dreams
I am new to this forum and have just read about half of the posts on this subject. I can assure you that dreams are not "just a dream" because I have been working with my dreams since 1984 and have learned a little of the meaning of the symbols we use in our dreams. I have read Freud and Jung because they were supposed to be the primary sources of information on dreams. I found both to be much more complicated than my simple mind could absorb, so I did my own thing in accordance with an instruction I found in Dr. Joseph Murphy's POWER OF YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND. His theme is that the subconscious is that part of us that is always awake and always in touch with God. I was skeptical, but I tried his method and discovered a great deal about myself. I began recording my dreams in 1984 and have written 1600 plus pages of dreams during the intervening years. With the assistance of a wonderful woman, I began to learn to interpret my dreams and have learned a lot of the symbols we humans use as references.
In the first dream posted on this thread, the dreamer was in a dark place. Being "in the dark" simply means that the dreamer was unenlightened about what was worrying him/her.
As a general rule, I do not interpret dreams for others since I have no knowledge of the events in their lives. However, I will, if asked, tell a dreamer what the symbols in his/her dream mean, but they then have to apply that information to what is going on in their life.

Most people tend to make the mistake that you ask them their dreams and you can read off a series of Freudian statements from a list.
Dreams are as unique as the person. There is no one more able to interpret your dreams than you yourself. Do not ever let anyone tell you differently.
Within your own mind and heart, that from which the dream was generated holds the key, such as it is to help your understand. But do not allow yourself to think that you can simply read off a meaning, or take such interpretations as advice from which you may rule your own life. A dream is the brain sifting through stuff it has to deal with. When you go through paperwork you often find stuff in the wrong order, and that brain is a view on this sorting process - not in good order but a confusion of images, thoughts and feelings.
Dreams are not cryptic messages that can be read by experts. Such experts can make their pronouncements, but nothing they can say can be verified, and usually just reflect their own Freudian prejudices.
Dream Interpretation is pseudo-science.
