That's why it has to end quickly because Trump only has a short time left as president and then up go the chances for a forever war.

Iran is like Tyler Durdan in the fight club basement. When the owner shows up and starts assaulting him, Durdan just laughs and encourages more punishment, offering no resistance. The owner keeps it up for awhile and then finally recoils in horror, horrified by what he has done to another person, and horrified that it has not worked as a punishment. He retreats. Destroying Durdan’s infrastructure completely would require a few generations at least for him to return to fighting shape.

Because it is about teams, not morals, not values. And, of course, this isn't just our go to Christian, it's a general trend. Figure out what the team is doing. Does it somehow help the other team to do X? if the answer is yes, then you can't do it. You can't notice it.

Team uber alles. That's the zeitgeist.
