Metaphysics is the deepest "what is the nature of..." questions; time, space, infinity, paradox, science, self, transcendence, consciousness, truth, etc.

The meaning of life is that everyone must choose (not find) the answer to that question for themselves. No one can write your story for you. There is no purpose to life per-se. Your parents had their reason, you have yours.

You are the story you tell yourself about how you fit into the world and society.

Meaning is the desire for things to be different than they are, even when that means increasing the time that they don't change. Meaning always and only exists in a mind. It is individual and subjective, but always contingent and never arbitrary. It is either avoid or approach in nature.

To choose a meaning of life requires a chooser...and so in choosing from a list something that makes more sense to you the chooser, implies there was a need or a want or a desire for that particular choice of meaning over and above the rest, so that the choice makes more sense to you.
