To choose a meaning of life requires a chooser...and so in choosing from a list something that makes more sense to you the chooser, implies there was a need or a want or a desire for that particular choice of meaning over and above the rest, so that the choice makes more sense to you.
You mean you wanted to see if advocates meaning of life mirrored your meaning identically, or was curious to see if advocates meaning of life was different to yours, like mine was....which was...
