Aren't you judging me?
My comment was written from a general perspective with regard the perception that people's cleanliness when it concerns their home or vehicle can be considered indicative of 'low quality of life'.
In short: many creative people and for example professors often live in a mess, simply because they dedicate their 'mind's time' to other aspects than (worrying about) social responsible behavior.
Albert Einstein was a presumed 'dreamer'. He was kicked out of school and was refused at the University Zurich Polytechnic. His teachers described him as not social, mentally slow and always away in his own stupid dreams. He didn't speak a word until he was 4 years old and couldn't read until he was 7 years old. In children with Dyslexia today it is named "Einstein syndrome".
Albert Einstein's behavior as a child may be perceived as socially irresponsible by many and a reason for measures but in his time he was merely kicked out of school and otherwise accepted as he was, which enabled him to develop into a genius that contributed to human existence like few others may have could.
Therefor my argument: it may be important to think twice before judging others.

That's a good idea. Next time I'm talking about Cosmology I think I'll call myself an Astro-Physicist!
You seemed to be one of the more mature people here but ...
But.... you are no physician

When people run out of arguments, they attack personally. I tell you I am a physician. Would you like me to post my CV? What's with the childish behavior?

That's my opinion. Your opinion is different.
When it's somebody who doesn't agree with you, they are being judgmental. When it's your opinion, it's a completely reasonable critique. I get it.
You can justify people being less than clean all you want. I don't happen to care for people who are this way. To me, it shows a lack of self respect. You have a different opinion. The guy over there has another opinion...

And let's face it you are a damn fake.
I have participated in many, many internet forums since the early 90's...philosophy, economics, religion, automobiles, and even a couple within my profession...having met untold numbers of people who identified themselves as you name it, other physicians, dentists, psychologists, loads of attorneys, various kinds of engineers, and a host of PhD's in academia. I have learned a
great deal from many of them and have rarely come across anybody in any forum that accused somebody of fraudulently representing themselves.
Why would somebody do that? What would be the point?

I think the confusion, simplicity, stems from when you said this:
I am not really into identifying myself [as most people are not], but sometimes I will identify as a physician to give my argument a bit more credence.
...it could sound like you are saying that you don't typically reveal any truth about yourself, but sometimes you make this up and say it when it suits you.

I have developed more respect for you than that, so I re-read it for clarity and realized what you were saying. Your approach makes sense.
In contrast, I was surprised to hear that Henry Quirk had been a nurse, because he seems like such an uncaring crusty old fart now.

I can possible see where confusion might arise, but why would somebody attempting to hold themselves out fraudulently admit it in such a cavalier manner? I simply meant to say that I will add an identifier if I am speaking on a topic where I believe this information might be useful. That's all.
If I am just shooting the breeze about whatever, then who cares? In this case, I happen to have a lot of experience dealing with a great number of people in a more intimate manner [than most would have] and thought that might be germane to the conversation.
Whatever...

Because a lot of people on this forum have mental issues -- and they don't even realize what they say or reveal. They blurt something out in one moment, and then later pretend it didn't happen or doesn't exist.

Yes. I could see that. I was just offering an explanation for the confusion that seemed to have occurred with Sculptor.

Because you are a faker.
I did not ask where you live, or what your name is.
The reason you failed to answer is because you are not telling the truth

The other side of an ad hominem is the ad verecundiam fallacy. I'm afraid you gave your self away rather obviously.

To make your argument look stronger!!
The first thing that got me sus was that, unless you were born in the 19thC I doubt you would be using the term "physician". Then there is your reluctance to state what sort you were. Why would anyone hide that, unless you were a veternary assistant or a hospital porter?

I was supporting my position that I had spent time with many thousands of people over several decades and used my profession as way to make that reasonable. If I just told you that I had known many thousands of people without any explanation, you might wonder how this was possible.
I get that most people have serious trust issues in light of the craziness that defines Western society, but I still don't understand why you believe I would hold myself out as something that I am not? Again, what's the point? I do not wish to identify myself further by telling you my specialty. Why would I? And if I was just making it up, I could tell you anything, right?
And you don't think that people [and especially within health care community] still refer to medical doctors as physicians? You obviously don't hang around medical offices/hospitals.
My friend, I believe you might have some trust issues. Whatever...

No. None whatever. I know a fake when I see one.
