Every iteration of the State threatens (along with lies, murders, steals, and enslaves). None are exempt. As for Europe: as I say, self-castrated and porous. There is no unity. It won't have an atomics program of any consequence and it has no will to use nukes anyway. The Islamists -- the dominant cultural force -- will not fight for it. The native-born won't fight for it. The European State is impotent, and without the U.S. State it will remain impotent.

Right now: what would happen is, Europe dies. If Europe regains itself -- collectively and as individual nations -- it would be unstoppable. But that won't happen, not any time soon, and sure as shit not soon enough to deal effectively with the Russian State.

This seems a little bigoted. Why do you see 3rd world "interests" as antithetical to culture and civilization? Haven't Achebe. Naipal, ishiguru, and Rushdie (and others) benefited English literature, and Western culture?

Perhaps Western culture would stagnate without outside influences. Who wants a stagnant world, lacking new influences and immigrant energy and innovation?

One more thing: as much as I despise Trump, perhaps he's not so horrid on the Ukraine (exceptnfor his rude and unconscionable treatment of Zelinsky). It's reasonable to change a losing game. Current policies seem to be leading to endless war. Try something else.

Your views, those expressed in your post, are like you: raw, folksy, but direct and also honest. True it may be that they are not unknown or unthought, I agree, yet what I was getting at extends beyond the cynical/realist base that you outline. It involves the influence of political theorists of the Right who were rarely studied but whose ideas over 12-15 years have filtered into the discourse of present. (Bannon for example as one who has read Evola, Guénon, Coomeraswamy, Jean Raspail, etc., etc.)

BTW I did find a patch of sand! Down at the river there are people who pull it out, sift it, and sell it to people who mix concrete for construction. Do you pound sand? I image it could be part of a healthy exercise regimen. However I do have a small gym in my garage so I’m all good there …

Consider the possibility the State (in any iteration) is not synonymous with the nation and that its interests (which it holds to be the nation's) are not synonymous with the nation's.
