The defendants can appoint lawyers to argue the case in their defense. Furthermore, the prosecutor will still have to present conclusive evidence.
So, henceforth, law enforcement should no longer bring any case against any (alleged) criminal because the president of the United States is also one?
If Netanyahu and Gallant can successfully argue their innocence, I will be the first one to say that they must be released from prison.
In the meanwhile, however, these individuals have a red interpol notice attached to their names, and must be arrested on the spot by pretty much every immigration officer on the planet, and be extradited to La Hague in the Netherlands, where they will be remanded into custody (inside their "cage") awaiting their day in court.
Don't hesitate to visit them and to bring them bananas !!!

The burden of proof lies on the prosecutors, not the accused. It’s a foundational principle of justice: innocence is presumed until guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt. That said, I agree with your conclusion—if conclusive evidence establishes guilt, justice should prevail accordingly.

The ICC is clearly a joke. It has only put out 'warrants for the arrest' of fewer than a handful of people. No Tony Blair. No Dubya Bush. Only one pisslamist leader.

It's not like people haven't tried to warn Netanyahu that he's gone too far. But he didn't listen to anyone (including allies) who tried to tell him to tone it down. The ICC represents every human being on Earth. Unless we all wish to potentially be treated like Gazans, then it sounds to me like the ICC has made a fair and pragmatic decision in the interest of those who wish for their human rights to be observed. None of us ought to say that we condone genocide. No one ought to be above the World Court.

Stop believing bs propaganda. People were protesting against Israel after Oct 7 BEFORE it had so much as ruffled a hair on a 'precious Gazan head'. This whole PR stunt has been in the pipeworks for years. 'Protests' planned, organised and backed by big money interests. People are so thick.
